**Third POV**

That night, Sekiya slept like a rock, waking up past noon the next day...

Sekiya woke up with a jolt, wondering what happened to her yesterday. She remembered letting out a big cheer as she completed the last element she had to manipulate, but nothing more after that. She checked outside the window of her room to see that the sun was soon going to start setting. "Crap, what happened, why is it way past afternoon" Sekiya thought to herself.

She took a quick shower, and ran down the stairs to see her grandparents sipping tea and playing shogi in the living room. "What happened? I remember successfully manipulating all five elements, but I can't remember after that..." she inquired her grandparents. "Well, you passed out after that due to the exhaustion from manipulating raw chakra and elements, and you used up all your chakra." answered her grandfather.

"Aww man, how lame, I can't believe I passed out. Some kind of ninja I am..." Sekiya said dejectedly. "Regret making that fireball now huh?" teased her grandmother. "But don't worry, you succeeded in your lesson, way beyond anyone's expectations. We thought you'd take a couple of days at the very least, but you did it in one afternoon!" finished her grandmother, praising Sekiya.

It slowly hit Sekiya that her normally stoic and blunt grandmother was teasing and praising her, she had to replay what her grandmother said in her mind to believe what she just said. Finally realizing her grandmother's praise, Sekiya grinned widely and gave her each of her grandparents a big hug. "Well, I had great teachers thanks to all of you." Sekiya humbly said. But inside her mind, "Yes! I actually made grandmother proud!" she cheered to herself.

Out of nowhere, the grumble of Sekiya's empty stomach filled the entire room. "Oops. I forgot I haven't eaten anything since lunch yesterday..." she said sheepishly.

Chiharu let out a tiny laugh at his granddaughter and told her there was food prepared for her at the table. Sekiya headed to the dining table to see a bowl of rice beside a plate filled with grilled salmon. Her mouth watered at the sight of the salmon and she quickly sat at the table and wolfed down the food. After cleaning up, she went to look for her parents, realizing she hasn't seen them around yet.

Sekiya looked around their home, but she couldn't find her parents anywhere. Finally giving up her search around the house, she returned to the living room to her grandparents. "Umm where are mother and father? I thought we were going to learn new Jutsu?" Sekiya inquired them. "You are not in any condition to learn Jutsu today young lady, not after you ran out of chakra just yesterday. Also your parents left earlier to get some important things. So just wait for a bit." replied her grandfather.

"Aww..." Sekiya protested as she was not learning Jutsu like she anticipated. Then she asked her grandparents "What things did they get?"

"That's a secret. But don't worry, they should be home soon." Chiharu simply replied to his granddaughter. "Alright then, I'll go practice my shuriken, senbon and kunai throwing outside while waiting then!" Sekiya announced in order to pass time and release some of the sadness she felt at not learning Jutsu today. She went and grabbed her shuriken pouch and kunai holster from her room and ran outside to the targets they've set up for practice.

Sekiya has been trained well by her father in the basics of throwing senbon, kunai and shuriken to the point that she wouldn't miss a single target as long as she aimed at them one by one and weren't moving faster than the normal running speed. But, there was one such technique her father showed her, where you can hit multiple targets from different directions all at once, by throwing multiple kunai at the same time, then having several more, as needed, hit them to redirect them all in the necessary directions. (Like how Itachi did in the attached video)
