Chapter Twenty Five: Welcome To The End

Finals were finally over and the whole senior year waited anxiously for the results to be posted on the notice board. Only the top ten students would go to the school they desired and the rest had to apply and wait for an opening. Ethan paced up and down the hallway "what if I don't get in?" He asked Maya "Babe" she stopped him from pacing and grabbed his face kissing him "You'll get in, they'd be idiots not to accept you you're the smartest guy I know"

"I love you" he said hugging her tightly "And I love you Mr. Anxious" she giggled and pressed her nose against her chest inhaling his natural vanilla scent.

Finally, the results were posted and the notice board swarmed with seniors; some disappointed and others excited. Ethan waited till everyone left and breathed slowly and looked at the top ten list of students. "OH MY GOD" he said startling Maya "What?! What?!! TELLL MEEEE" she said shaking his shirt. "I GOT IN BABY" he said jumping up and down excitedly. "OH MY GOD BABY THATS GREAT" she said matching his excitement.

He lifted her up onto him and spun her around kissing her. "I think you said take a look at the top ten babe" he said putting her down. On the list Maya was number 7 on the top 10 students. She started crying "I thought I wouldn't make it".

Ethan hugged her "I knew you would Maya" he kissed her head. Maya had gotten into one of the top nursing schools in New York. While Ethan got into Harvard Med. "but I'll be away from you" she started crying more into his shirt. Ethan lifted her chin up and kissed her "I'll always be with you Maya" he said holding her. "We're meant to be together" he said holding her hand.
