THIS CHAPTER IS DEDICATED TO THE 2014 HALLOWEEN BECAUSE IT'S COMING UP IN 24 DAYS LIKE YASS (BTW SORRY FOR THE SUPER MEGA FUCKING LATE CHAPTER BUT AT LEAST I UPDATED)
CHAPTER 11: Tricks And Treats
"Shh-guys!" Raquel hushed as we snuck our way around the cabin. Ally, Chloe, Raquel, and I had snuck out of our cabin at around one in the morning, but in the time that it took us to get orginized and get here, it was probably a lot later.
I held closed the pillow case full of feathers as we waited for Raquel's signal. Ashley wanted to play dirty? Then we would freaking play dirty. All we needed was to check if they were actually sleeping, and by the sounds of the loud snores coming from inside their cabin, they were.
We slowly went up the stairs and Chloe tried to open the screen door first. The squeaking of the old door made us all jump in surprise. It was so quiet that it could probably be heard for miles. Chloe giggled and Em immediately shushed her. I have to admit, I was really scared and nervous.
Only because I knew that if we got caught, we could be expelled from the camp.
But I stepped in anyways. The girls inside the cabin were snoring so loud, it was horrible. The room smelled of perfume and candy and flowers, or as Raquel described it, the 'girly smell'. We went right to work, first covering them all with honey, chocolate syrup, feathers, and whipped cream. Then we went on into coveing the outside borders of their beds with plastic wrap and yarn, so they'd trip and fall or get held back.
Next, of course, came the itching powder. The beloved itching powder. Everyone got a bit of that, but I made sure Ashley got a bit more. Then of course we set up the water balloons so they'd fall on their heads and the honey on the floor so they'd slip and slide or fall. We also put red and bright pink hair dye in their shampoo bottles. The whole time, there were a few gigles here and there.
We also covered their windows with spray paint that Chloe sneaked in, and we took all their good clothes and put them in a duffel bag, throwing it into the lake and then of course taking it back into the cabin. We set all the clothes exactly where they were, except now they stank of swamp water, and they were wet. Surely the rest of their clothes would absorb the stench of this. We snuck back out and quietly tip toed to the boys' cabins. Of course if only Ashley's cabin was destroyed, it would be obvious that it was us. So we would do some minor 'damages' to both ours and the boys' cabins.
Slowly, we covered them in whipped cream, and a tiny bit of chocolate syrup. I stared at Cole as he slowly breathed in and out, completely passed out. I felt bad for making this to him, but then again he looked so cute and I wouldn't have been able to see him like this if we hadn't planned this sabotage.
I ran my hand through his soft, clean hair, smiling at the way he repositioned himself to get comfortable...
"Rose, let's go!" I heard someone whisper shout behind me. I turned around to find the other girls by the door. I took one final look at Cole before rushing out with them. But I had this... feeling.
"Guys, are you sure no one's watching?" I asked them.
"It's like, five in the morning," Ally proclaimed. "Not even a rooster would be awake at this time."
"I did hear someone moving in that cabin though," Chloe said.
"Oh that was just Cole. But seriously, are we COMPLETELY sure that the boys were sleeping?"
"Guys, calm down. It's fine. No one saw anything, and it's all just part of camp. What you're feeling's just your own self and mind feling guilty. You'll get over it," Raquel explained. We then quietly headed to our cabin to finish the task.
