outbreak | svt

one

the sirens could be heard everywhere in the facility. everyone was panicking. this siren was a special siren, which could only mean one thing. there was going to be another outbreak and barely anyone was prepared.

                                          ....

seungcheol, junhui, chan, vernon, jisoo, and mingyu all met up at their room to try and figure out what was going on. suddenly, the general, or better known as taeyong, came bursting into their room, not bothering to knock.

"hey, what's going on?" mingyu said, shaken by the dramatic entrance. "there's going to be another outbreak." taeyong said, looking at all the boys. "and I have a favor to ask."

                                           ....

jihoon and his friends decided to all go back to jihoon's room since the general had told them everything that was happening. everyone was a bit shaken, they didn't think there was going to be another outbreak. though, jihoon had a surprise for everyone. whilst he was working a while ago, he was making the cure that he made that almost worked yet, he was adding a bit more of a certain thing. he was testing it out and was so thrilled to find out that it had worked.

he had found a cure.

"jihoon, what are we going to now?" minghao asked, sitting on the couch. "well, I have something to tell you guys." jihoon said. "yes?" jeonghan said, intrigued.
jihoon took a deep breath. "I found a cure." everyone stared at jihoon in amazement. "what? really!?" seungkwan said getting up from the couch. "yes really." jihoon said, laughing. just as wonwoo was about to say something, someone knocked on the door. seokmin opened the door to taeyong, looking slightly panicked.

"guys, can you do me a favor?" "sure, but did jihoon tell you that he found a cure?" minghao said, voice laced with excitement. "yes, and I am very proud of him." "now, will you guys do me a favor?" "sure. what do you need?" wonwoo said. "ok, everybody except jihoon, come to the rooftop with me. jihoon, go and make more of the cure." jihoon nodded."meet me and everyone else on the rooftop at 4." jihoon acknowledged, running out of the room towards the lab.

seungcheol and his friends were already on the roof. they didn't know why they were here. taeyong told them to stay there and wait till he came back. they were all confused as to why they were here and not down in the cities helping people and killing infected.

suddenly, the door to the rooftop opened and taeyong came, letting the doctors onto the rooftop. now everyone was even more confused. why were there eight soldiers and five doctors on the rooftop staring at each other in the middle of an outbreak?

"um well, this is awkward." seungcheol said, awkwardly looking at the ground. "agreed." seungkwan said. "well, should we introduce ourselves?" seokmin said, obviously not minding the fact that they were having conversation in the middle of an outbreak.

"sure?" minghao said, turning towards the door and looking for jihoon.

"seungcheol, 24, soldier." seungcheol said, smiling then bowing. cute. jeonghan thought. wait what?

"jisoo, 24, soldier." jisoo said, also bowing.

"chan, 20, soldier."

"seungkwan, 21, doctor."

"wonwoo, 23, doctor."

"minghao, 22, doctor."

"mingyu, 22, soldier."

"seokmin, 22, doctor." seokmin said, smiling brightly.

"junhui or jun, 23, soldier."

"jeonghan, 24, doctor."

"hansol, 21, soldier."

"soon-" before soonyoung could finish, jihoon burst though the door to the rooftop, trying to catch his breath. "soonyoung, 23, soldier." soonyoung said, winking at jihoon. jihoon rolled his eyes, walking over to his friends, handing each of them a bottle of the cure.
(a/n - they were all in lines accordingly. all the doctors lined up on the left and the soldiers on the right. they are all facing towards the middle.)

he then walked over and stood by seokmin, pushing his glasses up on the bridge of his nose.

"who's pink hair?" seungcheol whispered to soonyoung.

"i don't know." soonyoung said, staring at jihoon in amusement.

after they had all introduced themselves, they were still wondering why they were there.

"taeyong, why are we here?" chan asked. "great question." suddenly multiple screams could be heard from the city below.

(a/n - the facility is on a mountain.)

"you might want to hurry this explanation up."

"fine." taeyong sighed.
