He invited me to dinner at my favorite place, Applebee's!What can I say, that place has some great eats. I never know what to wear despite all the clothes in my closet screaming wear me!
My family loves and accepts him fully, and in a way I'm happy that they all get along. Alexander Harrison is the love of my life and I am as crazy about him as he is about me.
We've been dating since junior year and it's now the summer before we go to college. And while we're not going to the same one, we are planning to get an apartment together to save money on a lot of things plus have privacy. Our parents are going to help us out with money initially until we get jobs to help support ourselves.
I am happy.
He makes me happy.
If someone would have told me my freshman year of high school that I would be in the most amazing relationship at this point of my life I would've laughed in their face.
I've just been through so much in my life that I couldn't believe anything this good would happen to me.
Where to begin? I struggled with depression for the longest time, my parents got divorced when I was 13 and my younger brother was 12, and my favorite aunt died when I was a freshman. I didn't think anyone would ever want me. I just felt like I didn't deserve happiness for some reason.
But every day I thank God for my bestfriend Kenya being there for me through all of that. She has been my girl for as long as I can remember. She always tried to help me see the good in myself and everything that was going on around me. And we are going to the same college thankfully, but she's staying on campus however, I'm almost 100% sure she'll be around the apartment a lot.
As I'm going through my thoughts, my mom knocks on the door to tell me Alex is downstairs.
I start walking down wearing this casual dress with sandals and Alex just stares at me. He is such a dork on the low, but he's my dork and I like him...a lot.
And I might even love him.
