Chapter 6 They won't win!

It was now 4 days since Izuku was taken and Mina could feel herself slipping with each passing minute, each fading hour. She'd become less social, more aggressive whenever she trained, even sometimes locking herself in her room, on this morning there was a knock on her door. Mina didn't answer, so the person knocked every 10 seconds until Mina gave in and swung the door open "WHAT!" She said raising her voice angrily. She was a little surprised to see Himiko, Himiko said in sign language "Read this please" and held out a piece of paper.

Mina snatched it from Himiko, she wanted to just rip it up but she couldn't bring herself to as she felt something strange, so she read the letter "Mina, yes things don't look the best right now. We're all friends of Izuku and with you maybe something more! But does that give you the right to just shut yourself out from everything? We're all worried about him too, but that's the reason we've got to stick together as a group as a team. We don't know if we can get him back, but we've got to try. We'll be here for you and Izuku every step of the way"

Mina felt the tears welling up but she didn't hold them back her emotions all over the place the past couple of days, the letter seemly like a slap in the face and comforting hug at the same time. Mina threw her arms around Himiko who returned the hug "I-I'm sorry... I let my emotions... take ahold of me... it's right though... we can get Izuku back" Mina said in wobbly tone.

Meanwhile with Izuku, they found 4 other mutants. The first a 6 foot 7 male called Bracus, bald head and red eyes, he could make any sound and control electricity. The second a 5 foot tall female called Skylar, shoulder length orange hair and light grey eyes, her skin while a normal colour looked like scales, she could manually control the temperature in her body making a person she came into contact with overheat or freeze and can remember everything down to the tiniest detail.
The third a 5 foot 8 female called Cassie, undercut black hair, white eyes and dark coloured skin, she could breathe fire and ice, her second power, while she was is touching a person they become blind.
The fourth a 5 foot 2 male called Leo, white short spiked hair, blue eyes, he could manipulate his body to become small or giant, his second power when he's shot by bullets but only bullets, can send them back.

Though the 4 new mutants were immediately jealous and annoyed with Izuku, why should he have 3 powers? What's he done to make himself worthy they thought. The 5 of them fought with each other over the past couple of days, Hanae seemed pleased with it all though as did her father who was hatching a plan, something to see if Izuku was truly worthy.

A few hours later Mina was feeling a lot better, everyone noticed too. They were watching tv when something completely caught them off guard, a figure appeared on the screen, the figure that was with Izuku when the news broke about mutants attacking a military factory. The figure removed his mask revealing his face as he spoke "I have a feeling a certain one of you will remember me, friend of Izuku, but I'll cut to the case. I propose a battle, 5 mutants against 5 mutants in one hour. I'll have the coordinates put on the screen, it's simple if no shows people start dying"

The screen faded, Mina was physically shaking with worry and anger. Momo put an arm around her "Mina... we'll be there too and if Izuku is there as well... we'll do our best to bring him back" she told Mina in a reassuring tone. Mina let out a heavy sigh before nodding. Gustan and Hulen said they'll be there but keeping a distance in case the figure tried something. The 7 of them made their way to the coordinates sent by the figure, a part of the city under going renovation.

Buildings lined up on both sides of the street, the middle was occupied by Izuku and 4 other mutants. Gustan and Hulen split off before they were seen, the battle that Hanae's father wanted was about to happen. 4 mutants on each side charged at each other expect Mina and Izuku, they were slowly walking to each other. Once she was close enough, Izuku used the shadows to bind Mina's legs in place, but to his surprise she didn't resist, she instead just stared at him with a cold look on her face.
