"here is your little girl" the medic exclaimed walking over with their new tiny little baby wrapped in a towel. jughead helped his wife sit up straighter as the medic handed his daughter to betty. "hello little one" betty whispered tracing her finger along her tiny face. "hi there, baby" jughead added looking over betty's shoulder in complete amazement. betty delivered the placenta and jan brought a thick blanket in to cover betty up with. "you both seem healthy, but we are going to have to take both of you to the hospital to make sure everything is okay" one of the male paramedics explained. jughead held his daughter as the paramedics helped betty onto a stretcher, and he followed them into the car. "thank you so much" betty said to jan as they wheeled her out the door "thank you for everything" jughead added giving her a hug. "congratulations; she is beautiful" jan whispered back lightly touching the new little girl's nose and waving goodbye to the new parents.
