Falling and Feelings: A Collection Of Poetry

Plaid Jacket

I swore to myself that I when I see you in your plaid jacket and when you tell me you wear it because you're cold,

I wouldn't slowly fall in love while you told me about your favorite bands and stories about you and your friends

And if I ever did,

I wouldn't tell you in a million years

For many reasons

But mainly because

I want to hear the stories about you and your friends

I want to know your favorite bands and talk about their songs

I want to see you in your plaid jacket and I want you to tell me that you're cold

Just like you always do

Without it all being weird
