I smiled at the old picture of me and my mother, the day before I turned 18. It was a good day. We got along a lot better. Not arguing all the time. After I had saved her from father she grew distant from me. Never talking. Just eating our food together, watching tv, normal things. But we never spoke. She got mad over small things. But that day, it made me smile no matter what. "I see you have become popular over Facebook." Avi chuckled seeing how man followers I had already gotten 400 thousand followers. And it was still growing. I continued to stalk my mothers profile. Seeing that that picture was her profile picture, it slightly warmed my heart.
I clicked my new iPhone off and walked over to Avi who stood by the bed, fiddling with his own phone. He mumbled something incoherent, but he quickly stopped as he felt my arms wrap around his waist from behind. Avi's body stiffened slightly as I pressed a kiss to his shoulder. "Thank you Avi." I mumble in his shirt. A chuckle raddled my teeth as he turned and wrapped his arms around me. The silence of the room enveloping us as we swayed back and forth. Avi looked down to me. And me up to him, our gazes lingering over each other, Avi leaned closer to my face. His nose barley touched mine when a frantic nock sounded from the door. And it continued. And continued. And continued. Avi place me behind me. "John wouldn't do that. He would just bust down the door, Avriel." "I don't care Charlie." He says almost jokingly as he held me behind me. His hand pulling back the door nob to revile someone I wouldn't think to see in a million years.
My mother.
Short, I know. But thoughts? I love hearing them, and I'm beginning to think no one had interest in this story... So please correct me!
