Wasn't there a way to keep loving Tom without anything coming between you both? Tom's acting career was becoming too much for him. He didn't have time for anything else, especially keeping the relationship up.

You and Tom had been dating for over five months now, and it was getting worse every day. Tom himself was fine, but you could never meet him - or barely talk to him - as he was always filming for a new movie. When he wasn't, he would usually be on tour.

You sighed, looking at all the pictures of you on your bedroom wall. You still remember the day you met him after moving in next door. You were about five at the time; your mum had told you about the family next door, and that there was a boy your age that lived there.

A while later, the Hollands were at your front door and you saw Tom. You could see his wavy brown hair, and his dark brown eyes looked up at yours.
"Hi..." you muttered, embarrassed.
He smiled at you, quite awkwardly, and that was all you had said to each other that day.
You didn't think much, but through the years you became best friends.

You remember the times you walked through town holding hands, pretending you were going out; the times he would give you forget-me-nots whenever you were sad and the times you would hide in your secret place (after running away from home) to stargaze.

Those were the good times. But now? Maybe not so much.
