Chapter 1

LEONEY

It is solitaire night, my last option to escape this place. All the senior soldiers will have a meeting with the Luna, my mom.

The young soldiers who are still under training are guarding the palace, which will make my work easier.

My bag is ready; I put my brown straight hair as a high pony.

I opened my window, without making a sound I landed on the ground. After I entered the forest I changed to my wolf form.

My wolf Claire loves to run, she is a white wolf with shades of light pink near her eyes and tip of her ear.

We ran and ran and ran, we found a beautiful spot hidden behind the forest trees. There was a lake, surrounded by short grass, which felt soft under my paws, admiring the beauty of the place I changed back to my human form. I laid my bag down beside me sat down. Slowly I stretched myself, and became flat on the ground.

After a short nap, I opened my eyes slowly, to my surprise there stood a grey wolf with red eyes staring down at my. I was sure it was not a wolf from my pack, and I knew the wolf was a rogue.

Meaning-

I am dead.

AMANDA

I was busy in the meeting, that all night I didn’t notice that my daughter wasn’t here!

Early morning around 4am I went to her room. I knocked her door twice, she didn’t open, I thought she was asleep so I left her to sleep.

It was afternoon, I was waiting for Leoney to come and join us with lunch. I opened my mouth to ask Daisy about Leoney.

Daisy is the beta.

“Did you see Leoney?” both I and Daisy asked simultaneously.

Trevor told he will go and check on Leoney. Daisy told she will accompany him.

I felt something wrong going on. So I followed them quite a while after they left. They were for staring inside her room blankly with the door of Leony’s room wide open.

I ran towards them and seeing inside the room, I became paralyzed.

Daisy wiped my cheeks, that’s when I noticed I was crying.

Taren had called the guards and went to search for her. I sat on her bed, beside me Daisy sat down. Daisy found her dairy a note above it saying, SORRY MOM :’( I CAN'T HELP IT!!
