1. It's A Remy Thing...And Stay Out Of It Drew!
"Hey!" he screams, throwing a hand up to call for her. She slows down her pace and turns around, only to realize she's being stalked by him again. She screams,
"Leave me alone!" maniacally, and starts running. He rolls his eyes and starts chasing the girl. They run through the dark and empty streets of Suburbs Chicago, he's not into games, she thinks as she runs faster, occasionally turning around to see how far he is behind her.
"Remy! Will you wait?! This isn't funny!" He gasps as he chases her.
"Never!" She turns around a corner, but that only helps him catch up. She turns again to see his shadow closing up, she stumbles across the rocky grass fields, and decides to cross the road. She trips and falls between the road, and he catches up with her.
"You're really stupid you know?!" He catches his breath, only to hold another one in as the car targets both of them.
"AHH!" I sit up straight in my bed, my forehead filled with sweat. The last thing I could remember was the shiny headlights of a car blinding the two blurry people, but in my dream. Everything was blurring so fast. I rub my forehead and let out long strides of my breath.
"Remy, you're laundering those sheets on your own!" Mom screams out from downstairs. My cheeks turn red.
"Oh come on mom! I did not wet the beds! Jeez! I'm not 2 years old! That's the past!" I scream.
"Then what about that month ago when-"
"That doesn't count mom!" I interrupt her, tossing away my embarrassment and getting up for school. I throw over a cheap five dollar Chicago merchandise shirt I got from Downtown and my jacket over it. I also put on jeans because I can't go in underwear. I don't stress over clothes. I also go to the bathroom because every human needs to. Well, maybe not Drew Maddox because he's an animal in a form of a human. I tie my lusciously silky dark brown hair into two braids. Jaykay, I don't have to brag, but they are dark brown. And medium-length, with short side bangs. Such a countryside girl I am.
"Mom I'm leaving!" I run down the stairs of our tiny house and grab my backpack of the chair.
"Have some of my hot pockets dear!" She screams from the kitchen.
"No thanks mom, I'm not in the mood of throwing up!" I laugh to myself. But before I leave, I stick my head inside the door, "Jaykay! Love ya!" I give a flying kiss and dance all the way to my car. It's not anything special, it's an Isuzu, a black jeep.
Anyways, my name's Remy, Remy Walsh, an academically excellent junior at Mather High. I can be a little immature sometimes. Oh who am I kidding, I'm always immature, but I can be serious on my own time. I have a little amount of friends but I don't even need many. I live with my mom who owns her own salon downtown. She's single because our dad decided to run off with half the money. But who cares, he was just scared of handling such a bright child.
I have to go pick up Izabela, because her stupid-a*s hasn't passed range in Drivers Ed. I pull over by her apartment building and honk really loud. She's really rich because her parent's own a restaurant right across our school that makes tons feeding our High schoolers, but they still live in an apartment. Izabela runs down the steps of the pavement and into the passenger seat of my car, her blonde locks swishing to the side.
"Hey babe!" She says giving my an one armed hug. I look into the rear view mirror as I back up, hitting her dad's car in the process. Oops. She glares at me.
"Hehe, sorry?" I shrug, and she rolls her eyes.
"Anyway, Nick told me Drew has something bad planned today." Nick is Izabela's boyfriend, and he's is also the brother of the one and only, inhumane Drew Maddox. Let me let you in on who Drew Maddox is; the most annoying, evil, retarded, jerky a*shole/player. He's number one on my hate list because he, out of hundreds of kids at our school, finds particularly my life to ruin. My day can never pass by perfectly because his day won't pass perfectly without bothering me.
"Oh god, I'm guessing it involves me." I sigh, putting the car in drive.
"When doesn't it? Well, that's what Nick told me."
"I've put up with it 365 days, even during the summer! It won't be hard to put up with it today, besides, you know I can put up a fight." Yes, even during the summer my life is messed up, why? Because the boy lives right across of me! If it isn't paintballs on my window, then its water balloons, and if not that, then it's putting my garage on fire! Luckily, mom didn't suspect the monster when the garage was lit on fire since his mom is a popular client who goes to mom's salon and that makes them really good friends, Drew somehow makes himself seem so nice and goodie good in front of adults, but he doesn't fool the teachers and principal. Those people are on my side.
"Yeah you can. But I'd be more alert if I were you." I park in the Mather High School parking lot. Nick is waiting by door 3 for Izabela, and as soon as they reach each other, they start making out for a long time. Yuck. I stick a pretend knife into my heart and pretend die.
I should hate Izabela for dating my worst enemy's brother, and me and her are like sisters, but I don't, it's her choice to date him because I actually like Nick, as a brother of course. He's a much more angelic version of Drew, who is satanic and hides his horns under his lusciously styled dark black hair. Besides, Drew doesn't even know how to treat the elderly right, I've seen him kick an old lady off the bench so he could sit there! Wait, no I haven't, but if I did, I would so tape it and let the world know what a manwhore he is.
I enter the musty hallways of Mather. Where I'm convinced my last breath will be taken here. Why you ask?
Mather High School hallways are always crowded, the pro's are that you can get away sneakily, even with murder in these hallways! But the con's are that they stink! You have to walk with your collar held over your nose because 2/3 of the people in the hallways smell and like to leave stink behind, also, it gets all sweaty and musty if you stay too long and the smell stays on you. So I carry air fresheners as I sprint through the hallways giving a squirt anytime I smell a no-no.
Besides, the kids here find it very funny to torture hallway wanderers by farting.
So here I am, finally arrived at my locker, my backpack heavy on my shoulders.
"Combo, 11-27-19" I murmur to myself. I yank open the locker, and right then, about twenty different squirt machines that have been set off when I opened the locker spray paint all over me. "O.M.G!" My eyes are shut tight, and the paint continues to spew out.
Everybody's eyes are on me, most are laughing. A girl who observed all this from the beginning says, "I know who did it, I saw him come here earlier when I was going for math tutoring in the morning, it was Maddox." She gives a smirk; she's such a snitch even though I already know.
"DREW!" I scream, and stomp away, smacking the locker closed. I know just where to find him, in the janitor's closet next to Mr. Fulton's room making out with some bimbo. I yank at the door, and open it, I was right. "DREW!" I grab bimbo's wrist and drag her outside. "DREW YOU FUϽKER!" I push him on the shelves of the closet.
