1. It's A Remy Thing...And Stay Out Of It Drew!

"Hey!" he screams, throwing a hand up to call for her. She slows down her pace and turns around, only to realize she's being stalked by him again. She screams,

"Leave me alone!" maniacally, and starts running. He rolls his eyes and starts chasing the girl. They run through the dark and empty streets of Suburbs Chicago, he's not into games, she thinks as she runs faster, occasionally turning around to see how far he is behind her.

"Remy! Will you wait?! This isn't funny!" He gasps as he chases her.

"Never!" She turns around a corner, but that only helps him catch up. She turns again to see his shadow closing up, she stumbles across the rocky grass fields, and decides to cross the road. She trips and falls between the road, and he catches up with her.

"You're really stupid you know?!" He catches his breath, only to hold another one in as the car targets both of them.

"AHH!" I sit up straight in my bed, my forehead filled with sweat. The last thing I could remember was the shiny headlights of a car blinding the two blurry people, but in my dream. Everything was blurring so fast. I rub my forehead and let out long strides of my breath.

"Remy, you're laundering those sheets on your own!" Mom screams out from downstairs. My cheeks turn red.

"Oh come on mom! I did not wet the beds! Jeez! I'm not 2 years old! That's the past!" I scream.

"Then what about that month ago when-"

"That doesn't count mom!" I interrupt her, tossing away my embarrassment and getting up for school. I throw over a cheap five dollar Chicago merchandise shirt I got from Downtown and my jacket over it. I also put on jeans because I can't go in underwear. I don't stress over clothes. I also go to the bathroom because every human needs to. Well, maybe not Drew Maddox because he's an animal in a form of a human. I tie my lusciously silky dark brown hair into two braids. Jaykay, I don't have to brag, but they are dark brown. And medium-length, with short side bangs. Such a countryside girl I am.

"Mom I'm leaving!" I run down the stairs of our tiny house and grab my backpack of the chair.

"Have some of my hot pockets dear!" She screams from the kitchen.

"No thanks mom, I'm not in the mood of throwing up!" I laugh to myself. But before I leave, I stick my head inside the door, "Jaykay! Love ya!" I give a flying kiss and dance all the way to my car. It's not anything special, it's an Isuzu, a black jeep.

Anyways, my name's Remy, Remy Walsh, an academically excellent junior at Mather High. I can be a little immature sometimes. Oh who am I kidding, I'm always immature, but I can be serious on my own time. I have a little amount of friends but I don't even need many. I live with my mom who owns her own salon downtown. She's single because our dad decided to run off with half the money. But who cares, he was just scared of handling such a bright child.

I have to go pick up Izabela, because her stupid-a*s hasn't passed range in Drivers Ed. I pull over by her apartment building and honk really loud. She's really rich because her parent's own a restaurant right across our school that makes tons feeding our High schoolers, but they still live in an apartment. Izabela runs down the steps of the pavement and into the passenger seat of my car, her blonde locks swishing to the side.
