Episode 5: on the road

Before we get into this part I'm making it official that this fanfic will now be a choose your own story starting with this episode. What choices you make can affect the well being of others or can even result in a character death.
This episode is also a checkpoint to mark who is still alive and dead throughout this series.

Clementine looked through the large rusted school gates to see what AJ was talking about when he said the bad people are coming. She couldn't see anything,all she saw was the wilderness. That's when she saw a shadow take aim from afar with a gun and fire at clementine.

Clementine was too slow.

But that doesn't mean AJ was. He tackled her and as they both fell down. Clementine grunted in pain. AJ looked down to notice her bleeding through her stump.

"Shit her wounds open!" Violet yelled bolting to help AJ get clementine back on her feet
Everyone scattered when the shot rang out.
Asaim and Willy now began firing their bow and arrows attempting to ward off the attacker's but it proved effortless when AJ heard another shot go off. This time,willy was hit. The bullet lodged itself in his shoulder as the young boy fell down squirming in pain,clutching his shoulder as ruby rushed to go help him.
As AJ and violet carried Clem,the rest of what happened went by so fast AJ couldn't make out what was happening clearly.
He saw Louis come back outside and take cover behind a pillar in front of the admin building.
"Get her inside I'll cover you!" He shouted as he fired off an arrow.

"Ruby!" Asaim was running to her as she made an attempt to help willy up the stairs.
Bullets were zipping all around them but a voice was heard over their shots.
"Little piggies! Let us in!"
"Fuck you!" Violet said back as they had finally managed to get clementine inside the school.

AJ turned around to see them climbing over their walls.
It was more of those people wearing the masks. Ruby still tried to get willy up but he just wouldn't listen. His mind was lost to the pain. That's when Omar showed up and decided to pick up willy and put him over his back as an attempt to carry him.
While ruby and asaim darted inside,AJ shot off a few rounds at the intruders who were now inside taking cover behind their tables and couches.
He landed a bullseye on one of them in the head. When his body fell down though,the one next to him glanced at his dead buddy and then turned to look back at AJ
"You little shit!" He said as he fired a few rounds at AJ.
AJ took cover leaving Omar exposed as he struggled to get up the steps with Willy.
That's when the raider saw his opening and took a shot at Omar,landing a bullet in the back of his head.
Omar grunted and instantly fell to the ground, dropping willy also.
Willy as his injured shoulder made impact with the hard cement.

AJ then appeared back out of cover squeezing off some more rounds from his snub nose making the raiders take cover,while Louis dragged willy inside the building,leaving Omar's body outside unfortunately.
As soon as AJ made it inside,he looked around for clementine. She was upstairs with everyone,preparing for the raider attack. That's when violet came running down the steps
"Asaim get your ass upstairs and help ruby!" She said.
Asaim ran upstairs leaving Violet,Louis and AJ to get ready to defend the building from downstairs.
"AJ how many bullets do you got left?" Louis asked him.
AJ checked the chamber seeing only one bullet left.
"Just one." He said snapping it back into its place.
"Oh goodie we're screwed." Louis joked
