Chapter 1: The 1st Day

Despite the dour mood of 3 important members of the team, they continued on with their usual routine: Breakfast, then training in the morning. For the most part, Mio had been rummaging through documents, files and computers while everyone was training - The usual.

Hikaru was awoken by his dad. "Hikaru, son, we're here." Hikaru let out a yawn as he stretched, in order to make sure he wasn't stiff or tired on his first day. He looked out his window to see 2 huge buildings, one bigger than the other. He pulled out his bey and said to it, "Alright, buddy. This is where we make our mark. You ready?" His bey glistened in response, earning a smile from Hikaru. He then put his bey away and got his backpack and suitcase ready. Then, he pulled out an ID card, showing that he was a joining member. Chris had decided to do this after Trad left the team, since he would usually welcome any new members.

The car pulled up to the area. Once it fully stopped, Hikaru swung the door open, and jumped out of the car, getting another good stretch in while he was at it. He turned around and hugged his dad. He then walked away, while saying to him, "Bye! I love you!" His dad said in return, "Love you too, son! Have fun! And behave yourself!" "I will!" When the car fully left the area, Hikaru turned around, toward the BC Sol "residence," and took in a deep breath of fresh air. He thought to himself, 'Alright, here we go. You can do this, Hikaru.' He then entered the residence...

...before getting stopped by some guards.

"Who are you?" said the 1st guard. Hikaru said, in return, "I'm BC Sol's newest member. I'd like to enter, please. "Show us your ID Card," said the 2nd guard. He pulled the card out of his pocket, showing it to them. After about 10 seconds of checking it over, the 1st guard said, "Welcome, Hikaru. We hope you enjoy your summer vacation here." Hikaru smiled at the guards, showing insinuating that he would definitely enjoy it here. He then kept on walking toward the biggest building. When he was out of hearing distance, the 2nd guard leaned in on his microphone and said, "He's here, Chris."

Mio grabbed her ringing cell phone and quickly answered with a short greeting. "Okay, understood," she muttered before hanging up. The manager, Christina (Chris for short), had just received word that Hikaru was now currently on campus, and asked Mio to fetch them. So, once the white-haired girl checked on the other members, she left the training hall, with a curious Valt training behind her. 'He should be somewhere around here...' She thought to herself. As if he had just heard her, Hikaru had been spotted. "Excuse me!" She lifted a hand and waved Hikaru over with an evident smile.

Hikaru walked over to the white-haired girl. He noticed a shorter boy, around his height, with spiky blue hair. He said to the girl, "Hi!"

"By any chance are you..." Mio awkwardly peeked down at her laptop before continuing, "Hikaru Ren?" She wasn't very good at this part of her job. Hikaru said to her, "That's me! In the flesh, or something..." He trailed off. He was doing his best to act friendly, since not many people hung out with him at school. "Welcome to BC Sol!" Mio bowed her head, then tucked some hair behind her ear. Then, she hesitantly reached a hand out. "My name is Mio Park, I'm the, um... I'm the team captain.' She pulled a soft smile.

"Hey, I didn't know we were getting new members!" Suddenly, Valt poked his head into view and scampered over. "Welcome to the team, man! And, little man." Hikaru was a slight bit annoyed. "Hey, we're both the same height here. Or maybe you're not used to people as tall as you? Either way, thanks!" He then shook Mio's hand, "It's nice to meet you, Mio!" He then turned to the bluenette, hand still out for a handshake. "And you are...?"

Valt gladly shook Hikaru's hand, saying, "Valt Aoi. It's good to meet you, Hikaru!" He grinned widely. Hikaru returned the grin, almost as big as Valt's. Mio spoke up, saying, "We're really happy to have you. If you're interested, would you like to join us for training?" The female chirped, flattening out the creases in her apron. "Yeah! Let's have a battle!" Valt said, grinning again.

Hikaru's eyes lit up. He was always up for a battle, no matter the challenge. He said to Valt, "Okay, let's do this!" "Sweet! Come on then! Senpai, let's go!" Valt scampered back into the training hall, shoving the doors open. "...Oh dear," Mio said, brushing some hair out of her eyes. "He's got a lot of energy, that kid. I like him," Hikaru said, as he followed Valt into the training room.

Clutching the tablet close to her chest, Mio followed after both boys, stumbling over her own feet accidentally. "This is the training hall! We...sweat a lot here." Valt clapped his hands together. "Oh, and this is my pal, Honcho!" He jabbed a thumb over to a taller blonde. Rantaro lifted a brow before noticing Hikaru, and then waved at him. Hikaru waved back at Rantaro, before continuing to follow Valt over to a bey stadium. He then set aside his backpack and suitcase, before pulling out his bey and launcher.

Hikaru shows his bey to Valt. "This is my bey, Twister Turbo!" Valt does the same, saying, "And this is mine, Genesis Valtryek!" He then quickly locked Valtryek into place and pivoted into stance. "Ready when you are, buddy!" Hikaru then puts Turbo on his launcher, which has a horizontal grip, and gets ready. Unusually late, Christina entered the room and hurried over to Mio. Valt gripped his launcher tightly. "Alright, here we go!" They both counted down"

"Three!"

"Two!"

"One!"

"Let it Rip!"
