✟Chapter 6✟

《Jungkook's P.O.V》

After I heard his breathing slow down, I put my book on the sofa and approache the bed.

I took a seat on the bed, but he didn't stir. If that wasn't enough to wake him, he must have been extremely tired.

I kept my fingers on his neck for a moment.

His temperature and pulse were fine. Feeling that threw me into a whirlpool of relief and self-loathing.

"How unsightly." I let out a heavy sigh, from irritation.

When I woke up, Jungkook was nowhere to be seen.

I got up and out of bed to look into the mirror, seeing that there was a new seal.

I stepped out of Jungkooks room to see a butler waiting for me, he took me back to my room.

Breakfast came at a perfect time, right when I sat down on my room's sofa, it was ready for me.

After finished eating, a servant came in to clear out my plate.

The helpers here are frighteningly efficient..

That hinted at how much control Jungkook had over the castle.He was a pureblood vampire which means he was active at night.

I wonder if he's asleep right now?

Right then, I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in." The door opened, and came in Hoseok. He showed me a heart shape smile, that shined bright.

"Good morning, Moon Child. How about the two of us go into town?"

This is a perfect time to gather information in the town. If the dice rolls in my favor, I can press Hoseok for information, too. "Sure. but what for? Your asking because theres a reason right?"

"Precisely! Your really sharp. Well, we don't have alot of human food in here, so we have to go get some more.

We generally send the servants out to get it. But since your new here, Taehyung. I figured we could go out and buy what you like the most." Hoseok said.

I suppose make me eat high quality food would make my blood taste better..wait...

Then, I noticed that Hoseok had said my name. "Oh, so you know my name? I don't remember giving it."

"Jungkook told me." I haven't told my name to Jungkook either..He must have heard it when the driver called my name that night..

"And, I'm sure you figured this out, too, but I'm not the one who thought up taking you out to town, that was Jungkooks, too. Unfortunately, vampires don't do terribly well in sunlight. Jungkook and the servants are all purebloods, so they have a tough time out there. So that's why I'm escorting you, Dhampir aren't to bothered of the sun."

"Thank you for the explanation, that makes sense. Sure, I'll go with you."

"Now that's what I want to hear! Let's do this, then, just in case." Hoseok pulls out a can from his pocket and sprayed it on me. I thought it was perform or something, but it had no scent.

"What did you do to me?" 

"I erased the scent of humans blood on you. We dont want to get those other vampires excited now, do we? They'll find out if you get to close, and the effect wears off after some time so be careful."

"Thanks." Hoseok just showed off another heart shaped smile.

"No problem."

The town was livelier than I expected. It may have been a vampire town but it didn't look different than an human one. It just had plenty of people wearing thick hoods. It must have been because they were vampires..

"Anyways buy whatever you want! Take your mind off things -- its on Jungkook!"

"I'll buy what I like then."

"That's the spirit!"

After going through a few shops, I was waiting in the main road for Hoseok. He went to go take care of his own shopping. As I watched the town, my eyes meet with someone's. The person was staring at me from afar.

That's...Jimin!?

He walked into a alley, and I sprinted after him.

He's..gone? I thought I saw him go this way...

"Taehyung! Where are you! Hey!" When I heard Hoseok's worried voice, I quickly hid behind something.

I have to find Jimin...or make sure that wasn't him.

After making sure Hoseok went elsewhere, I went deeper into the alley.

I searched long and hard, but there wasn't a trace of him anywhere..

It would be dangerous to stay out here any longer. I have to go back and find Hoseok.

"Hey doll, your quite a fine catch, how about we go to a bar. " I heard a clingy voice behind me, I turned back to it, I had a bad feeling about this. Two thuggish vampires looked at me with unsettling smiles.

I said nothing to them and hurried off. However, one vampire grabbed my arm, holding it tight.

"That scent! That's the sweet, sweet smell of human blood."

My covers blown!

I step on the vampires foot as hard as I could then hitting them in the gut. When his grip loosed, I used my chance to run.

They're vampires, so they'll catch me before long. I got ready to dash into the main road when someone descended from the sky.

The man who stood between me and the vampires...was none other than Jungkook.
