Jungkook's P.O.V
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~It's been a week and 3 days ever since my accident. Jin has finally let me out of bed and I'm almost done with my medication.
Jimin and I walk outside every afternoon, unless it rains, leaving us bored out of our minds until the sun decides to peak through. Today was one of those days....We sit on the couch, listening to the rhythmic puttering of each raindrop hitting the picture window beside us.
Jimin sits in a thin, long-sleeved blue shirt paired with black jeans. I watch as he taps his fingers on the table next to him, his eyes focused on the window."Jimin." I speak up and Jimin turns his head to look at me. His eyes are bright and his lips are pursed as he waits for me to finish. "I have an idea."
"An idea?" He asks, his eyebrows scrunching up in question. I smile in response and point to the window his gaze was just on.
"For the rain. Since we can't go for the walk." Jimin looks behind him for a moment before looking back at me. "How about we go to my art room?" His eyes light up even more at the words.
"And I thought I knew every room in here." He giggles.
I've always wanted to take Jimin to my art room. Besides hating myself, I always knew that drawing was something I could do well. I want to show Jimin what I can do...
"There's a whole basement that you haven't seen. My basement isn't a creepy one." I cringe at the thought as Jimin's eyebrows raise even higher.
"There's a basement?" He asks, his mouth agape. I nod and he smiles wider.
"C'mon I'll give you a tour of it." I laugh and stand up. Jimin follows as I lead us to the basement door. It's the only colored thing in my house, a dark lavender door to the place I go when I can get out of my moods.
"The only colored thing in this house." Jimin giggles as he grazes the door. I chuckle along at him repeating what I just thought.
"That's crazy I was just thinking tha-" Jimin cuts me off with a finger to my lips. The familiar sound of my front door opening echoes through the halls. Jimin and I freeze as we hear someone-most likely Jin-walk through the front door with...bags?
"Mr. Jeon, and....Mr.Jimin." I hear Jin's very recognizable squeaky laugh while he pauses and closes the door, the sound of plastic still ruffling through the house. "I'm back! And I bought avocados for you Mr. Jeon!" He yells next. Before I know it, Jimin is running to the kitchen, leaving me behind with a semi-opened door.
"What did you get me Jin!?" Jimin asks in the distance. I shut the door and start to walk towards where the two are.
"I got you manggaetteok." Jin replies.
"Manggaetteok?" I ask. "Why?" Both of them look up to me, then Jimin looks at Jin for a response. Jin looks down at him and pinches his cheeks.
"His cheeks are full and soft just like it." He smiles as he continues to pinch Jimins cheek and smile. To watch him touch Jimin makes me unusually angry. It becomes an instinct to tear his hands away from him...and it's exactly what I do, leaving me to stand there shocked by my actions as they stare, just as surprised.
"It's not n-nice to invade others privacy." I tell Jin orderly. He nods at me and bows apologetically. Jimin stares at me with confused eyes. "Would you like to see the basement now?" I turn and ask him. He only nods and grabs the manggaetteok.
We walk back to the familiar colored door and go downstairs where the matching walls are.
"Down here, every wall is colored. Colored by me." I get a sense of pride as I show Jimin the area.
"You painted that?" He asks pointing to my favorite mural. It's a boy painted with black paint, looking straight forward with colors dripping down his face. I painted it about a year ago.
"Yeah. It's my favorite one." I smile at the artwork again, remembering the days I painted each detail.
"Your favorite painting?"
"My favorite mural." I correct.
"There's more?" He asks, still surprised. I only smirk and lead him to the first door, opening him up to the dark room.
"This is the dark room. It's for developing my pictures." He shoots a confused face towards me.
"I take photos too." I explain. He nods as he looks back into the room, the red lights reflecting on his face. When he looks back up at me, I close the door. His eyes are still raised.
From the close proximity, I can see all of the perfect features Jin must admire. The full cheeks and unflawed skin. His long eyelashes and his plump lips...."So how many rooms are down here?" Jimin interrupts, looking around.
"U-Um 4...technically 5." Jimin looks at me questionably.
"Technically 5?" He asks.
"I'll show you later. But for now-" I walk backwards and open the door without looking away from him. He giggles as I wave by hand around to showcase the second room. "This is the fitness room. When I feel like it...I work out here." I explain while he looks into the room.
"Cool." This time he doesn't seem too interested in the room. This shows me his dis-interest in fitness. I guess I'll keep that in mind...if I ever need it.
"Yeah." I think I say it to myself before Jimin runs off to the next door. "Wait, wait, wait!" I stop Jimin before he pulls the door open. "This one needs an explanation." Jimin smirks and pulls hard on the door. I smack my forehead in frustration before looking to see his reaction. He holds a confused face as he looks into the empty room.
It's an empty room that I haven't gotten to yet...but I was hoping I could do something about it."What is there to explain? It's an empty room." He chuckles before walking inside.
"Yeah-" I jog up to the door frame and look inside. "Exactly."
"What are you gonna do with it?" He circles around the room, his footsteps clicking against the wooden floor as he traces his fingers along the blank white walls.
"I'm going to give it to you."
