When you opened your eyes, everything was dark around you. You were lying down on a hard surface but it didn't seem to be the ground as it was moving from time to time. Your head was hurting and you felt dizzy as if you had been drugged. You could hear a sound you knew well around you but you couldn't put your finger on what it was yet.
You tried to sit up but your forehead hit something hard, forcing you to lie back down. You scratched your head, groaning because of the pain. As if everything wasn't hurting enough already, you thought.
After a few seconds, you slowly lifted your hands above your head until they touched what you hit with your forehead. You started to feel it to understand where you were and you soon realized you were surrounded by the same hard surface everywhere.
Anxiety started to take over you as you realized you were trapped in a box. Like a coffin.
You tried to move your legs but it was as if they were tied together. You let your shaking hands slid to your legs until you felt something like a rope. You pulled it to make it move but it was too tight.
Suddenly, as you were trying to untie your legs desperately, something clicked in your mind and you finally recognized the sound you had been hearing from the moment you woke up. It was an engine. Which meant you were probably in a trunk.
A wave of panic took over you as you realized the situation you were in. Your legs were tied together, you felt dizzy and not in complete control of your body and you were locked in a trunk.
And as fear took over you, your whole body was like paralyzed. No tear escaped your eyes, no sound escaped your mouth, nothing. You were not moving an inch, your heart was beating the fastest it had ever beaten and your breath was chaotic, but that's it.
You wondered if you should scream in hope that someone would hear you or if you should be as silent as possible to avoid annoying whoever put you in their trunk. However, you didn't have to chose as the car stopped and you heard a car door opening.
Your first instinct was to close your eyes and act as if you hadn't woken up, hoping the person didn't hear your forehead hit the trunk. You calmed your breath easily, probably helped by adrenaline, but you could still hear your heartbeat echoing in your ears.
You heard footsteps next to the door and after a short pause, the person opened the trunk.

You opened your eyes and sat up quickly in your bed, covered in sweat. You turned all the lights on in a hurry, your hands shaking uncontrollably. You looked around you, the comfortable atmosphere of your bedroom not even calm enough to make you feel better.
You had difficulties breathing and your heartbeat was way too fast. You were completely frightened because of your nightmare and it took you a few minutes to calm down.
You eventually looked at the time on your phone. 3am. You lay back down, sighing. Flashbacks of your dream kept invading your mind over and over again, reminding you how scared you felt for a second.
But was it really a dream ? Or was it a memory ?

"Can I ask you something ?"
Your head was on Taehyung's lap while he was playing video games. It was a chilly afternoon like you used to have before.
"Yep go on," he replied, chewing his gum carelessly.
"Doesn't Soyeon seem.. familiar ?"
"I don't know, I've known her for quite long now so I can't really tell." He shrugged, his eyes still glued to the screen.
