Even locked in the tent Liam could feel how stressed everyone was. Naturally, he wasn't surprised but something told him that this wasn't just the usual fear. He heard the boys' hushed whispers almost every day, but nobody told him anything specific. He was reading in his bed with Harry and Niall beside him, both concentrated on the entrance, when Louis and Zayn finally came in. They both looked pale but determined.

- What happened? Another battle coming? Did the war end? Who won? Who died? Are we captivated? Time to go home? - Niall rushed.

Louis sighed and shook his head.

- No, Niall, relax. General Cowell wanted to see us. He was telling us how all of our plans were getting double-played and ending up in failure, no matter how hard we tried. He's suspecting that there is someone spying on us, cause the Germans definitely get access to our information, like weaponry, numbers, positions and stuff. At first it was just his theory but now he says some soldiers noticed movements on the field. He even has the concrete suspected area. - he explained nervously.

But neither of the guys were highly affected by the information. The rumor has been going on for a while and it wasn't the most surprising situation.

- So, the Germans sent a spy? Is that all? I mean it's terrible but not that unexpected. - Harry said.

Niall and Liam nodded in agreement and waited for Louis' answer. From his uneasiness it was obvious he still had more to say.

- No, that's not it. He... guys, he's sending us for investigation. He wants us to catch him. - Louis answered quietly.

Harry and Niall turned to each other but there was nothing they could do. They were in the army and it was a command. Their silence gave an answer but Louis and Zayn still looked expectant. Niall frowned.

- Oh, you mean like right now? - he asked.

Zayn chuckled quietly at the Irishman's surprised tone.

- Yeah, there's a car outside with everything we may need. We should get going as soon as possible. I'll drive.

Once he finished talking the other two stood up. But before they would walk out of the tent, harry stopped.

- Alright. But what about Liam?

His question sent everybody's attention to the wounded lad, who was unsure how to react to everything. Zayn being in charge had to make the decision.

- We'll be back by tonight. Even if we don't find him today we'll return and then head there again tomorrow.

Harry turned to him in shock, having none of Zayn's carefree act. He knew it was just a way to keep himself together.

- We're leaving him on his own? One of us should stay. - he snapped.

Zayn sighed, trying to stay calm. He'd be lying if he said that the question wasn't bugging him all the way to there.

- Cowell ordered all four of us to go on this mission. We'll just inform the nurses. - he assured Harry.

But it was not assuring for the tallest man.

- Are you out of your mind? - he raised his voice and walked to Liam.

Liam, who didn't understand Harry's actions like the other three, looked up at him from his spot.

- Hazz, it's ok. I can't come with you anyway. - he reminded.

Harry's glare at Zayn softened and he looked down at him.
