Family is Forever

Across the world, everyone received news of Tony's death. Myself still couldn't believe it was all over. The battle was completely over. We can all go home. Doctor Strange and Wong used portals to bring everyone back to their lives and homes. Home to their family and friends. Maya helped with her teleporting. Steve carried Tony's body as she took him, me and Pepper to the hospital. Tony was gone but needed medical attention. The most heartbreaking part was seeing him say goodbye to his friend but I looked to Tony like the rest of the Avengers, my family. I made eye contact with Pepper. She had dried tears over the lost of her love. I smiled sadly. "Pepper, talk to me if you need- she cut me off by patting my back softly. I hugged her. She hugged back tightly. All she needed was a hug. Steve joined the hug. He kissed my forehead. We parted and gave her space. Sam saw us and hugged both of us. We hugged back a little tight. "Nat's not here, is she?" He whispered. I nodded my head no. "She died for the stone." He told him. We did nothing but hug and cried together. I started this amazing journey with these two and Nat. We survived together and found love within each other. My heart also reminded me of Sophia and Mia. I excused myself, separating from them. I picked up my phone and called mom. "Hey." She said."Hey, mom. How's Sophia and Mia?" I asked. "They're fine. I'm so sorry." She said, referring to Tony. I sighed. "Thanks. We'll be having the funeral at him and Pepper's home back in upstate NY. I'll be there to pick up the girls." I said. "You're bringing them? They barely knew Tony." She said. "Still he's a big part of their family. Last time, we talked about having them meet his daughter Morgan so they could have a play date. Guess it'll happen without him." I said. "Aww, baby. Ok, I'll get their stuff packed." She said. I nodded. "K, I love you." I said. "You too." She said, before hanging up. I noticed Steve laid by the wall. He shown a sympathetic look. I walked up to him, wrapping my arms around his neck. His hands on my waist. Our foreheads touched. I nuzzled my nose against his. He nuzzled his back. I slightly giggled. "We get to go home." I whispered. He tried to smile though grieving over Tony. "I know." He whispered. We kissed passionately. We parted. I sighed. "Least Sophia and Mia will meet their family members at the funeral." I said. He nodded. "It's ok. We're finally at peace." He said. I hugged him. He hugged back. He's right. The world was finally at peace. Our huge family can live at peace now. And I'm so grateful and thankful we done our last mission...together.

I reunited with the rest of the Avengers at Tony's funeral in his home in Upstate New York. Maya helped me pick up Sophia and Mia and get them dressed. They were happy to meet the rest of their family. Wanda finally got the chance to see them and they loved seeing her powers. Half of everyone got powers so they was really happy. Tony did as he promised. Pepper introduced Morgan to them. They became close friends which is super cute. Bucky, Sam and Wanda were staying at our home. My sisters and brothers teleported here dressed in respective black as well.

Sophia and Mia were occupied talking to Maria. Steve and I noticed Bucky was nowhere to be found. "Where's Bucky?" I asked. Sam shrugged. "He said he didn't feel like he had a right to come." He said. I immediately felt bad. Steve told me Tony found out Bucky killed his parents when he was working for Hydra. I know it wasn't his fault. "Somebody's gotta go get him." Daniel said. Maya nodded. "You guys stay here, I'll go." She said. I sighed. "You sure? You must be tired teleporting everyone." I said. She scoffed. "According to our parents, our abilities combines with the power stone so we can't glitch." She said. I nodded in understanding. "I'll bring him here." She said. Steve raised an eyebrow. "He's stubborn." He said. I chuckled. "You are too." I said, pecking his lips. Sophia and Mia giggled which made him chuckle. Maya smiled, disappearing in a blink. In two minutes, she came back with him where Sam and Wanda stood by the dock. Silence was present while we stood by the lakeside, waiting for the Stark family to come outside. We shared small conversations that ended the peaceful silence. My eyes diverted to Maya and Bucky. Their hands intertwined as they smiled at each other. I hid a huge smirk. Omg. I turned to Bryana and Maria. They returned the gesture. All of the Avenger family was here. I smiled sweetly to the Guardians, T'Challa and his family, Doctor Strange and Wong.
Scott and Hope came and brought an older couple. I waved. They returned the gesture. My siblings and I waved at our parents, Carol and Fury. People on the dock were talking amongst theirselves. Rhodey was at the front of the dock. Steve, Bruce and Thor stood behind him. I was next to Steve, with Sophia and Mia in my grasp. Bryana was next to Thor.
Maria, William and Daniel was next to Sam. Peter and his Aunt May were at the end of the dock. Her arm was wrapped tightly around him. Steve looked at Bucky and Maya. They madly blushed once we made eye contact. I smirked and winked. She chuckled quietly. The house door opened. Happy, Pepper and Morgan began walking to the end of the dock. She held Morgan's hand in one hand and clutched a bouquet of flowers in her other hand. With a few steps, she nodded to everyone who showed up. We watched as Pepper crouched on the end of the dock with Morgan. They blew kisses to the bouquet before pushing it to the lake. In the center of the flowers, was an Arc Reactor of Tony's with the words engraved 'proof that Tony Stark has a heart' on the rim. Bruce stepped forward too. He pulled a string of red flowers from his jacket pocket. He held them to his chest before he sent them off to float alongside Tony's bouquet in memory of Nat.
Tears formed in my eyes. I still miss her so much. Steve wrapped his arm around my waist for comfort. Sophia and Mia hugged me once they noticed me crying. The minutes of mourning two fallen Avengers continued.
