Midoriya/Reader's POV
I flipped through my notes, from the various heroes I wrote down. Meanwhile, I had a slight grin on my lips . Of course I had to be interrupted by my childhood friend, Kachan, aka Katsuki Bakugo. Kacchan smashed his hand on the table, about five inches from my notes. I was startled by the loud bang. Sometimes I thought, that he wanted to kill me, that was definitely the tenth time in a row .
"Do you write again in that stupid notebook ?! How pathetic!" He says venomously. Of course I said nothing , i didn't want a fight right now. Bakugo leaned down a bit and saw my little tears slowly apearing in my eyes.
"Hey! Is he crying now?" Asked one of his "friends" and continued to laught at me.
"Come on, Deku . Say somethin'! Argh, forget it, I don't want to hear your ugly voice anyways! Hey, if ya really want to have a quirk that badly, jump off the roof top! I bet you will get one in your next life!" He says and goes out of the class room .
It was the end of school lessons. I went home, but I felt like someone stalked me. Often I looked around, but I found no person who ran after me.
As I wanted to put one foot in front of the other, I got stuck. Under my shoe sole sticked something sticky, which felt like freshly chewed gum, only that it was much stickier and slightly liquid . I pulled and pulled on my leg, it wouldn't gone off. I tried to open my shoe, but this also I didn't succeed, because this slime, liquet thing moved upwards my leg. My left leg was already totally stuck, I tried to free myself, to tear myself away from it. But I didn't succeed! I was helpless .I screamed for help, but nobody heared it.
That thing had managed to work its way up to my throat.
"I can't breathe.
I'm suffocating. Am I dying now?! Is this my end?!
No! I still have to become a student in UA! If I only had a quirk everything would be much easier!"
"HA! HA! HA! HA! Dont need to worry! why?! because i am here!"
Everything goes black
I woke up on the cold asphalt and right in front of my eyes,was the big grin from All Might.
"Hey kid! Wake up! Don' worry, you're save now!"
"A-A-A-A-All MIIIIIIGHT?!" I freacked out.
"I mean All frickin' Might stand right before me! He is after all the gradest hero! It would be out of my chareckter to not freak out!" I thought.
"That's me!" He stood up and pointed with his thumb at his tonned chest.
"I-I have so many questions!" I said and opened my notes, which I immediately took out of my backpack. I opened my theories page. The first thing I read was the question: "Can I become a hero?" I looked at all might, who was waiting for my question and asked:
"Can I become a hero, even if I don't have a quirk?!"
"I'm sorry kiddo. But sometimes dreams are just dreams. Give it up, kid." And then he disappears .
I only felt how my world shattered before my eyes. Again.
"I think All might is right. Why was I so stupid?
The doctor said the same thing.
Kacchan was right, I'm pathetic.
And All Might. He destroied my deams.
How could i be so stupid?"
I picked up my burnt notebook and threw it in the trash.
It had no use anymore. What should I do with it now?
Time skip
two months
After school, I immediately went up to the roof.
Kacchan hadn't been looking at me for a couple of weeks.
For some reason, some feelings for him had slowly grown. I always adored him since we were little. I loved his big smile! Especially when he looked at All Might! I wish he would look at me like that. I opened the door to the roof top. The roof top was empty. Since a few weeks I went up here and enjoyed the view. Every day I come a bit closer to the fence. And today it is time!
I think Kacchan was right, I am really a Deku! A useless Izuku! A useless bucket! Bucket izuku! A useless piece of shit! Why can't you do something right!? Why don't you do that, what Kacchan said to you?! Jump off the roof top! Yes... That's it. A beautiful happy end~
Without realizing it, I stood behind the fence, with a letter behind it and my shoes neatly laid on it. I enjoyed the view a last time.
Suddenly I heard one too familiar voice.
,,STOOOOP!!"
