Kurt looked around his room. Home Sweet Home. He got up from his bed and walked over to his suitcase to start unpacking. He heard a knock at the door and stopped what he was doing, to go answer it.
"House warming gift." Blaine said as soon as Kurt answered the door. Kurt smiled, accepting the plant.
"Thank you. Come in." Kurt said. Blaine walked in, closing the door behind him. "How are you doing settling back in?"
"Good. I mean I haven't been gone that long. Real question is how are you doing settling back in?" Kurt asked. Blaine sat on the couch.
"I miss being on tour. Getting to meet everyone and performing, but I'm glad that I get to just relax and write some more music." Blaine said. "And I have my inspiration." Blaine looked at Kurt. Kurt looked up to him.
"And what might that be?" Kurt asked, setting a glass of water down in front of Blaine.
"You." Kurt looked at Blaine confused. "You've always been my inspiration and that will never change."
"Well, what about Mason?" Kurt asked, sitting down beside Blaine who shrugged.
"I love him. I do and he does inspire me, but I guess the person who has always been my inspiration to write music has always been you. Even during the years we weren't talking." Blaine explained, taking a sip of his water.
"How did you and Mason meet?" Kurt finally asked. Blaine set the glass down on the table and turned to Kurt.
"Well..it happened maybe a month after we broke up. Ally invited me to this party to get me out there again since I wasn't really leaving my condo. The party was hosted by one of Ally's close friends who is my friend. Who actually turned out to be Masons brother." Blaine began to explain. Kurt nodded.
"Ally had told me before we left, to let loose. To not think. Live in the moment. Which translates to 'Be free. Drink as much as possible and have fun.' You know how alcohol affects me. It does crazy things-"
"And yet you're still an obnoxiously cute drunk." Kurt laughed. Blaine smile.
"Yea well I have no self control and Long story short. Mason had found me upstairs in a room in a closet singing softly to myself on the verge of passing out." Blaine said.
"Do you remember what you were singing?" Kurt curiously asked. Blaine slowly nodded.
"It was teenage dream. Anyway... Mason had found me and he had told me the morning after, that it looked like I had been crying earlier before he came..but he lightly pulled me out of the closet and that's all I can remember. Then the next morning I woke up in a bed. I had a pounding headache. I was extremely confused.

Five years ago...Blaine slowly opened his eyes to a dim room. The pounding in his head grew stronger with every second that passed. He groaned and covered his face with the duvet of the bed. He closed his eyes to go back to sleep before realizing this wasn't his bed.
He took the covers off of him and got up. A glass of water and a bottle of aspirin was on the side table. He took an aspirin and washed it down with the water. He looked around the room.
"What happened?" Blaine lightly said, rubbing his aching head. He ran a hand through his messy curls. He walked over to the door of the room and opened it. He stepped inside the dark hallway and closed the door. Blaine rubbed his eyes as he made a left turn and walked down the stairs.
He noticed all the red plastic cups that were scattered all throughout the room. He looked over and saw the blinds closed, preventing light from coming in the room. He yawned and looked over at the couch. That's when he noticed there was a figure sitting on the couch.
