A/N:
Vote and comment if you like this chapter or whatever. I'll still post here and there.
When I start school on September, don't be surprise if I don't post anything as fast as usual. School comes first. 🤷♀️ Be thankful when I have a crazy idea, I write about it or make a note to write it down.
Thanks for reading.

After school, Louis and his father headed to the rehearsal. The drive there wasn't short or long. Neither of them spoken a word about anything related to Michonne.
Louis saw her a few times after his small talk with his father on his birthday. He didn't mentioned anything about the conversation with Michonne. Only the birthday money and about him moving out once he graduate. She said it was best for him to live close to college and focus on his study.
Louis still wonder how his mother convinced his father to allow him to leave the nest.
In the car, Lance did asked Louis about Clementine. Shockingly, his father loved hearing how well his girlfriend is doing. Secretly, his father loved when his son speaks about her. Seeing him smile shyly and describing her in a lovingly way softened the man's heart.
By the time they reached the place, Louis was stuck rehearsing for three hours long. The conductor, that his father is monitoring for some months, went through the entire songs with each instrument on stage.
Louis was stuck in the center with the grand piano. He sat there waiting to play along with everyone. Every ten minutes, someone misses their part or out of tune.
Louis sat there bored out of his mind. Slouching on the cover of the piano keys. His hand itched badly for his phone to text anyone or just one person he has in mind.
For the last two hours, they all played in unison. Louis glaring at everyone, purposely and praying that none of them mess up. He didn't practice every night for nothing.
At the end, his fingers cramped up. His father brought him an ice pack for his hand.
"Thanks, sir."
"You're welcome." His dad turned around to talk his trainee.
The ice pack pressed against his knuckles. The coolness felt so relieving. He needed this the first hour. He got up to find a cooler of water bottles.
Finally stretching his legs, some people came up to him. Complaining about the practice and the instructor. Louis shrugged about it. Saying a few cheerful words to his music acquaintances.
Already missing his friends. The conversations went from lame to boring. He sneakily shifted away from their deep conversation to grab a bottle from the cooler. A hand bumped against his.
He looked up to see Stephanie. She jumped back, molding a smile on her face.
"Louis! Nice to see you!" She chirped. Louis nodded his head, handing her a bottle and then grabbing one for himself.
"Yeah. How's every thing with the violin section?"
"We're great. Like always. My arm is getting tired of holding the violin. I rather play the cello. Have something between my leg-Damn! That sounded so wrong." She covered her mouth. Her face turning red like a strawberry. Louis chuckled. Sipping his water as they watch everyone pack their instruments away in their cases.
