I turned to look out the window of the plane I was on. My ears popping, as the plane takes off. I never had a fear of heights, but this one scared me. I was the one that got the window, while an old guy next to me read a book. Not bothering to pay attention to me, or even acknowledge I was there.
It didn't bother me much though. I just slipped in my AirPods, and started listening to music. I still stared out the window though. It felt weird, staring down at the Earth while I'm a plane. It was like you were patrolling it, making sure everything is good.
My name is Ava Dawn Stevenson. My name was pretty simple. I was twenty-one. People considered me to be a shy, cool person. I have a pair of blue eyes, long brown hair, and my skin tone is light. I was wearing a blue hoodie, and some jeans, so I would be a little comfortable.
I lived near Cincinnati, Ohio. My parents were really nice people. My mom wished that I would've gotten a job near home, but I was offered a job that had a high pay, and it was in Tennessee. My major in college was psychology, and I was highest in my class.
I used the grant money I had to buy a nice apartment. It had a decent sized kitchen, a large bedroom, a small storage closet, a closet for clothes, two bathrooms, a big living room (with a large, flat screened tv), and a really nice office.
I knew I would spend a lot of time in my office. I was a really big book enthusiast. Or in other words, I was a big nerd. Reading was a big part of my life, and so was singing. My dad taught me how to play many instruments. I was actually really good at piano.
I continued to stare out the window until I saw clear dots, sprinkled a crossed the window pane. I looked at how pretty the sky looked. A rainbow shined a crossed the sky, and it made me feel happy. I knew I would love what was in front of me. I just knew it.
This is the start to my brand new life!

The plane landed 5 hours later. Everyone was finally getting off of it. I waited to get out last so I wasn't bumping into people. All my bags were in the cargo hold. So I couldn't easily get my bags.
I hurried off the plane and to the place where they kept everything. It wasn't a long walk, but I felt a little sore after sitting for so long. I asked my Nana if she could help me to my apartment.
I had enough money for a car, and I had my drivers license, but I wanted to settle at my apartment first. In the morning I would get a car, and go to my job for the first time. The job I was offered was one for a school psychologist.
Basically, if any of the kids needed help with something going on back at home, I would be there to comfort them. As I said before, the job had really good pay, plus I wouldn't be closed off from anyone.
I never liked cubicles, or even working in a factory. I was more comfortable with working around people, so I didn't miss out on any socialization. I soon saw a black car pull into the lot. My nana walked out and ran to me, tackling me with a hug.
