Ombro P.O.V
As I walked into the house my heart thudded impatiently in my chest. It was as if he was the only one who could fix me, even my mother's voice was not enough for me to snap out of it. God it makes me so angry! He has no right to do that, just kiss me out of nowhere like that! The nerve of him, who does he think he is?
I don't deserve this shit. I made my way up the stairs and began walking quickly to my room, my brown boots hitting the floors angrily. As I was walking, coming from one of the rooms I heard a soft crying sound. The breaths were ragged and quiet, I knew almost suddenly that it was Stasia in there. Should I go in there and try talking to her...
Without giving myself a second option I slowly cracked open the door. Yep, I was right. Stasia was bent on the floor her with hands on her face crying hysterically now. She shook with every breath and finally looked up at me.
The sight of her frame almost broke my heart...almost. I moved into the room and sat down next to her silently as I sighed and rested my back against the bed. Stasia looked over to me as if she was expecting me to say something. Honestly I had nothing to say..
She sniffed and wiped her nose tiredly. "I don't remember anything" She breathed out finally after a few moments of silence. I nodded as I remembered earlier when Theseus said the council had basically erased her memory before they sent her to them.
"My latest memory is waking up in this house last year.." She drifted.
-Flashback to one year ago-
Lenobia P.O.V
"She is being transported there right this moment, at any minute they will arrive with the girl" Dimitri, the head of the Nephilim council spoke quickly over the phone. My heart raced in my chest as I bit the inside of my lip. I know there is nothing I can do to change the council's mind..
"Please...please your majesty, don't do this to us" I begged him incessantly, even though I knew there was no point in it. The tribulight was the only way that we could set Theseus free. One life in trade for the other. A human sacrifice.
Dimitri chuckled darkly and I could almost imagine his toothy grin from all the way in Greece. "Lenobia Lixiro, you are really something. But given what your daughter has done and Theseus...you should be thanking us for giving you an option and not murdering all of you." He paused. "Unless that is Theseus wishes to recant?" He suggested.
I looked behind me to Theseus on the couch who wore a grim look of disappointment. Slowly putting the phone back to my ear I spoke quietly. "No he doesn't, Theseus wishes to live." I responded for him.
"Alright then, as I said before you have approximately two years total to get it done. And if the tribulight has not been murdered by then...well you know the consequence" Dimitri said and I sure as hell knew the consequence would be Theseus death. I gulped at the thought as I tried pushing it out of my head.
"I know and I am thankful for the tribulight-" suddenly erupting me from my conversation with Dimitri, the doorbell rang. It's sound was sharp and sudden, I stood up straighter as the coils in my neck tightened. No one in the house dared to move.
"Ohh is that the doorbell?" Dimitri's voice was full of excitement it made my stomach curl in disgust. I gulped once more and made my way to the door.
"It was" I replied before planting my hand on the door knob but not having the courage yet to twist it open. Theseus sat up on the couch and Icarus came up behind me with a sympathetic smile. "Ok well I will go now...two years Lenobia, that is all I will give you" Dimitri said before the line went dead.
