*beep *beep* *beep*
The familiar sound fills the room with it's loud noise. Waking up Jung Hoseok. He slowly opens his eyes adjusting to his room that is filled with the bright light of the outside. He gets up and smiles to himself. "Today is the day I tell her how I feel." He gets up from bed humming a happy tune while getting ready.
After showering he walked to his closet to get dressed. 'I need something cute but formal' he says in his head as he pictures what would look the best when he tells his best friend he likes her. "Found it" he says out loud taking out the clothes that he thinks will impress her the most.

*beep* *beep* *beep*
Your alarm goes waking you up from slumber. You check your phone and realize what day it is "yesss it's Friday" you say while smiling. Friday was a special day you see, it was the day that you and Hoseok would spend the day together not as a couple but as best friends. You two met each other in the beginning of college. To be exact you two met on a Friday. Since then you and your bestie made it tradition to hangout every Friday. But what you didn't know was that today's walk in the park was gonna be a rollercoaster of emotions.
• At college •
Hoseok stares at the clock for what it feels like an eternity. He loved to hang out with you but his last college class of the week was in the way. Normally you would wait for him outside the college and then hangout but the teacher seems to be making her students work overtime. "Hey bro, whatcha thinking 'bout?"
His best friend yoongi asks being curious as to why Hoseok seemed so rushed. "I'm telling her today." Hoseok responds, still staring into the clock. 'Only one minute left' he says in his head as he smiles. "No way man. Congrats dude it's about time you told her" Yoongi added. Hoseok scoffed showing that he was annoyed but in the inside he knew it was true. He had to tell you his feelings before you found someone else. "Okay class, enjoy your weekend. Class is dismissed" Mr.sun said closing his book and opening the door allowing the students to leave. "Aight man good luck , I'll be wishing you the best with Y/n 파이팅!" Yoongi yelled across the room since Hoseok was the first one out the door.
Hoseok finally made it to the last flight of stairs. He speed walked to the door and smiled seeing that Y/n was still standing in front of the music department where he studied. He opened the door and Y/n immediately noticed. Smiling she ran up to him. "Hoobiii" she yelled as she ran and gave him a hug. He giggled at her cuteness, breaking the hug he asked where they should go. "Hmm... maybe the park. I heard there's a new ice cream shop." Y/n said excited to try the new shop. "Okay the park it is" Hoseok replied. Y/n squealed jumping up and down "Come on then I can't wait" she said as she grabbed Hoseok's hand. "So how was class?" Y/n asked as they continued to walk to the park. "It was good. Just boring." He heard a scoff and looked over to his right. "Boring? At least you have friends in your classes. Unlike you I'm all alone." She frowned at the last sentence. "Hey. Don't say that you have me." He squeezed her hand. She smiled "I know I have you but you're not physically there." She giggled at his cliché response. "Aren't I physically here" he smirked as he got closer to her face. "Chill hobi, if you keep on flirting I'll eat your ice cream"
"Wait wha-?" Before he finished his sentence Y/n ran to the ice cream shop. "Yaah Y/n-ah don't eat my ice cream!" He yelled as he ran after her.
Hoseok finally caught up to Y/n. "Ok hobi I'll get the ice cream you'll wait here." Y/n said as she pointed to the cute table with two chairs. Hoseok nodded walking to the table as Y/n went the opposite way.
He took a seat and realized that the nerves were finally kicking in. 'I have to tell her now'. He looked up to see Y/n smiling with two ice creams in her hand. "Ok let's eat" she sat down and handed the ice cream to Hoseok.
"I like you Y/n."
Hoseok blurted out
The silence
