My room was a replica of Bethany's room. My dress was from her collection at Aeropostale, a long sleeved, royal blue, velvet skater dress with a pretty scoop back. There were silver glittery wedge sandals, glittery silver drop earrings and a silver glittery necklace that was shaped like a cat. For my hair they had left a pair of blue velvet cat ears with glittering silver gems attached to the front. It would be perfect to pull back my shoulder length, curly, golden blonde hair. I unpacked my few clothes I had into my closet, grabbed my makeup I had brought, and my clothes for tonight, and headed to the makeup room. I took some of my curl managing spray to define my curls, and tied it back in a ponytail so it would be out of my face for makeup time. I removed all my makeup so I could start with a fresh face for this important night. I didn't have much makeup, it was mostly destroyed in the fire that burned down my home and left me homeless. I chose to use the gifted makeup because most of it I had used before the fire, because I had it. I used the primer, and then took my new foundation and started blending it on. Turns out Fandom games provided makeup tools as well, so I us a beauty blender to use. The foundation was perfectly matched to my skin tone, and had good coverage but looked virtually invisible, I had never seen the brand before, RCMA. It was literally the perfect foundation! Next I put on setting powder, and did my eyebrows with my new Anastasia brow pencil and gel. I applied eyeshadow primer, and just a bit of highlighter and bronzer to contour my face. I did a sparkling eyeshadow look with my own loose silver glitter and eye glitter glue. I lined my eyes and added a small wing. I put on some mascara and some of my falsies, and put on some light coral creme blush. To finish the look I put in some shimmery coral lipgloss. Then I put on my dress. It fit like a glove, I loved it so much. I pulled my hair down from its ponytail and fluffed it up a bit before putting on the cat ears. As I was putting in my earrings, I heard Brenna's voice come over the loudspeaker again. "All girls report downstairs right after you are done getting ready. I checked my iPhone 6 black (it was always on me, so it survived the fire). It was only 6:00, dinner didn't start until 7. But I figured I better do what she said, so I put on my necklace, strapped on my wedges, and clomped out the door.

When I got downstairs I found Kirby, clad in a One Direction dress, and Ariana, wearing a dress that I remember seeing pictures of Ariana Grande wearing. They were sitting in the living room getting their nails done. So that's what this was. A nail intervention. Through the commotion, Brenna spotted me. "Ah, Winnie! All you girls are getting acrylic nails! The nail people will be visiting you every two weeks in the month as well to fill them." I smiled. I knew wha acrylic nails were, and had always wanted them! I saw that Ariana's and Kirby's nails were already on the painting stage. Ariana was getting round, white nails, while Kirby opted for square nails with each of the One Direction boys painted in cartoon form on each one of her nails on each hand. I sat down at one of the empty chairs at the nail table, in front of a Chinese woman with blunt bangs. "Hi, I'm Wanda," she said. "All you need to tell me is what length you want, what shape you want, and what paint you want and then you can just sit and relax." I chose a short, round shape that looked more natural then a pointy or square shape, and decided to go with the same exact nail art that Bethany Mota had gotten for her "Seventeen" magazine cover shoot. Wanda glued on my fake tips, coated the acrylic on, shaped, filed, and buffed my nails into a perfect shape, and painted them to perfection. I noticed at that point that Avalon had arrived in a cute TFIOS themed dress, and was getting long, pointed nails with a pretty turquoise color and gem decals. Stevie was here too wearing a dress that I think Taylor Swift had, getting bright red round nails. Suddenly, the room went silent. All heads turned as we saw Cora. She had flawless makeup that was bold but still natural except for a deep red lip. Her hair was done in a perfect topknot. But what really struck us was her dress. It was a vintage purple dress with lots of tulle, and was, from the little I had seen, strikingly resemblant of the Evil Queen's dresses in Once Upon a Time, but modernized. She looked pretty great. After everyone had calmed down (Stevie had thrown a tantrum because her nails weren't red enough), Cora got round nails with OUAT drawings on them. By the time we were all finished, it was time for the dinner. Brenna gave us our starting speech, and promised that after we were all ready for bed that night, the nail artists would come back and gel polish our toes. This was it. The Fandom Games were about to begin.
