The Three People Vol. 01

Chapter 1

Cory held his gun tight. Sprinting as fast as he can as bullets whizzed past his body. "Faster, faster, faster!!" Cory told himself. He was scared. Frightened. He lunged himself over a small brick wall and laid there. He was catching his breathe when he heard, "Got you." Cory acted fast picking up the gun and holding it towards Kai. "Just drop the gun, Cory. I've already got you." Kai teases. Hoseok come out from a bush and puts the gun behind Kai. "No. I've got you." Whispers Hoseok.
"H-how? How did I not see you?"
"It's surprising when your the smartest in the game and choose to wear a forest camouflage uniform." Cory attempts to make a break for it, but Hoseok and Kai both get him in the back and Cory is down. It's only Kai and Hoseok left now. They look at each other. Kai slowly squeezes the trigger in hope that Hoseok won't see. He has the "I win" smirk and pulls the trigger completely. The bullet hits Hoseok in the gut. "Gaa!!" Hoseok managed to spit out. Kai celebrates in winning yet another game. Cory gets up and takes off the the padded armour. "How?" Asked Hoseok.
"I had my gun aiming towards your gut and squeezed slowly with my thumb." Explained Kai.
"... who the heck shoots with their thumb?!" Cory exclaimed while holding out his thumb.
"You say that, but look who won." Says Hoseok.
Kai goes inside the house leaving the other two outside. The two look at each other and back at the guns... they smirk and grabs the guns checking how much ammo they have. "How much?" Hoseok asks.
"Ten, you?"
"Seven. Let's just shoot these out and get mor from Kai's room. Cool?"
"Yeah." They quickly empty out their magazines, go inside the house and they head towards the room. They find the pellets and replenish their ammo, including Kai. Cory looks out the window to see three people moving into a house across the street. They're roommates just like the three boys. "Hey! Hey! Hoseok! Look! We have new people moving in across the street!" Cory stares excitedly.
"Hm... they seem very nice. Let's go welcome them." Kai insists appearing behind them.
"Awesome." Cory says in his head.
The three of them go across the street to greet the new people. "Hi! We're your neighbours from across the street," Hoseok tells as he points to the house behind them," and we wanted to come and welcome you to our neighborhood, 'Maidenhead Court'."
The newcomers thank them for welcoming them and introduce theirselves. "Hannah", "Caitlin", and "Lucian" were the newcomers name.
