FIRST-PERSON POV.
When I woke up again, I had my head rested on Cyan's chest and she had her head resting on mine. I didn't move, I only smiled and blushed a bit. I was pretty sure that she liked me back. Okay, no, I was one-hundred-percent sure. I didn't move.
I could see that there was still daylight, but it seemed to be the evening. I heard chatter not too far away and wanted to listen, but I couldn't wake Cyan up.
Speaking of Cyan, she made it easier on me because she started to wake up. She yawned, and opened her eyes, smiling at me. We stayed where we were for a minute, then stepped away from each other. I quietly walked over to the others while she stretched.
"...so that's why we should leave tomorrow, at noon," Rocky was saying calmly. Cactus shook her head. "We need another day, you can't expect us to-"
"Rocky's right, if we leave at noon tomorrow we can get to the city and be safe sooner rather than later." Ray said, cutting off Cactus. They hadn't noticed me yet.
"I am fine with anything. I think you're both right-how about late evening tomorrow?" Dove asked.
Then I realized what was going on. We were gonna go to the city.
