Chapter 27

*Matt's P.O.V*

I was just waiting for Alex to text me back. I can see her already typing.

Alex: Yeah, what's up? Is there something wrong?

I had to text her about a couple of things and they were very important.

Me: I wanted to ask you on if you were going to be doing anything in a
month...

I sent her the message and then waited for her to say something back.

I'm hoping that I can get some of her opinion on everything that I needed to say. I know that she is a very understanding girl so I know everything will be okay.

Then she texted me back.

Alex: in a month? Not really. I hardly do anything when I'm alone at my house. I just hang out with my friends whenever I get the chance. Why?

Me: I was just wondering... I hope that's okay.

I am asking because if you remember, I'm planning on visiting her.

I don't want her to know that we will be meeting soon. I want it to be a complete surprise to her.

A month is a long time... okay maybe not a long time but it's still long enough to make us wish for it to go faster.

Us meeting will be completely worth it.

Alex: oh okay. Is there anything else that you need to tell me?

I am hoping that what I say next is that she won't get mad.

I am not trying to start any drama but something did happen and I just feel like she deserves to know.

I took a deep breath and then started to type my message to send to her.

Me: so something happened but I really thought that you deserve to know what it is about... but before it was Christmas... your friend Kayleb had texted me and he said some things...

I don't really know how she would feel about what I'm going to be telling her. I hope she isn't mad at me because I didn't do anything wrong.

I was confused myself when Kayleb had texted me.

Alex: Kayleb? What did he say?

Me: he said some things...

So I was just eating some chips while I was on my bed in my room when I heard my phone go off.

I took my phone and looked at the screen.

My eyes widen when I saw who it was...

It was Kayleb.

Kayleb was Alex's friend. What does he want?

Kayleb: I need to talk to you

What does he need to talk to me about?

I don't really understand.

Me: what do you want to talk about?

He's kind of scaring me just a little bit. I hardly had a conversation with him and he's now texting me on Instagram. I don't get it.

Kayleb: what are your intentions with my best friend?

So that is what he wanted to talk about?
