The next day, on Thursday, I'm in my English class, when a guy I've never seen before---entered the classroom. The teacher Mrs. Moon, smiled warmly at him.
The girls around me were all whispering.
"Oh my gosh, he's so hot!"
"Who is that?"
"Hope he doesn't have a girlfriend..."
I snorted, amused with the typical girl behavior.
But then I take a look at him, and I'm shook by how incredibly handsome he is.
"Class, I would like to present your new classmate. I'll let him introduce himself." Mrs Moon tells us.
The new student stands where I had once been not too long ago.
He bowed and then grinned in a friendly way to all of us.
Those are some perfect, white teeth, holy shit.
"Annyeonghaseyo, my name is Park Seonghwa, and I come from Jinju. Please take care of me," he says with a smile, and I don't think it's my imagination when his eyes land on me afterwards.
"I'd love to take care of him, definitely," my classmate Soojin murmurs at my left.
I snickered, elbowing her.
"You can take the free seat next to Min Sae Hyeon, in the second row there. Raise your hand, dear. So he knows who you are," she tells me.
I do so, and the guy grinned a wickedly beautiful grin, heading to my row.
"Ooh, lucky you, girl." Soojin chuckled.
"Shhhh..." I whispered.
"Hello, Sae Hyeon," Seonghwa greets, smiling sweetly.
"Hello," I replied, feeling my cheeks ablaze. Thanks for giving me away, fuck.
"You can give him a hand so he catches up to where we are in the workbook, Sae Hyeon," Mrs. Moon says, and I nodded.
When Seonghwa takes the book and also textbook, I began showing him where we're at.
"Ah, okay. In Myunghsin High School, that was the last thing the class gave before moving here," he mentioned, picking up his own to write his name on the page.
"Oh, so you won't have much trouble, then." I said, smiling.
"I suppose," he chuckled.
"Let me know if you need help," I say, continuing to write on my own workbook.
"What classes do you have? Maybe you can help me get to them, and catch up, too. Since it seems that the teacher sort of assigned you as a guide," he said.
I took out my schedule and he compared it with his.
"Oh, this is good. The only class we don't have, is homeroom. The rest is the same. Cool." He sounded relieved and also pleased.
Having a closer look at him, there was no doubt at all, that the guy is way too handsome to be real. His jet black hair was perfectly styled, in a sort of feathery way. Like idol hairstyles. His light tan complexion was flawless, perfect nose and full soft pink lips.
Wide shoulders and muscular limbs.
Yes, I'm checking him out, and I do not care. On the inside, I was cheering that I was picked as his tour guide of the school.
"Yeah, I'll be able to give you a hand. You can sit with me and my friends at our table at lunch, too. They're really nice, and fun to hang out with," I offered.
