Chapter 14

He blushes. "Right now??"

"Yes right now! Before she leaves!" I see her friends getting up and go to the bathroom. "Go now! She's all alone!"

He takes a deep breath and says, "Alright" as he gets up and walks over to her.

"Where is he going?" Freddie asks me.

"Don't worry about it" I say as I kiss his cheek.

Roger comes walking back a few minutes later with a huge smile on his face. He sits down next to me and whispers in my ear "I got her number."

I smile really wide and say "Nice! So tell me about her."

He chuckles and says, "Well, her name is Sydnee, she's only a year younger than me, and she has the most beautiful blue eyes.

Everyone starts to listen in on our conversation. "Ooooh who's number did you get this time?" Freddie jokes.

Roger starts blushing and nervously looks away. "Uh.. N-no one..." And everyone starts laughing at him.

I hug Roger and whisper in his ear, "Don't worry, they're just jealous."

He smiles and starts to calm down, whispering in my ear, "Thank you."

Our food comes a little while later and we start eating and talking about everything under the sun. After about 20 minutes we all finish our food and head for the door. Brian, being the gentleman that he is, holds the door open for all of us. I smile and kiss his cheek as I walk out the door.

We all get back into our own cars and Freddie starts driving me to his place. I rest my head against the window and close my eyes.

"Tired, darling?" He says

I smile and nod my head as I slowly start drifting off to sleep.

"You can take a nap if you want."

I softly mumble "Alright..." as I fall asleep, leaning against the car door.
