Chapter Fourteen

A/N: Haii there everyone long time no read heheh....yeah look I am extremely That I did not type in a new chapter for a while and I am sorry I kept a lot of you beautiful readers waiting for so long. It was not my intention to be away for a while. I did work on this chapter a few months back after chapter thirteen, however, I need up being extremely busy with finding a job and starting college recently...I think it's going okay...I think. Not only that I have also worked on Fate reader as well so a chapter should be coming out this week but I cannot make any promises. But without further a do enjoy!

There you were half-naked in the arms of Chrollo and Illumi in the doorway. The whole room fell silent, no one had muttered a word since you welcomed Illumi back. The assassin was known to be very calm and he never showed any emotion, however, in this particular moment the aura you sensed around him made you feel uneasy. Soon enough you could slowly feel Illumi's bloodlust rise and once it reaches a certain point everyone in this building will be a pile of dead bodies. "This is the point of no return I have no choice but to lie"

"It's not what it looks like a swear" Chrollo carefully places you down.

"It looks exactly what it looks like to me~"

"Of course you would think that."

"What do you mean by that, dear?"

"Simply that you're a pervert."

"Awe, I'm hurt, what have I done to deserve this?" Hisoka walks over to you to give you a hug.

"Don't lay a hand on me, you child toucher!"

"Wouldn't it have been easier to say, pedophile, you don't have to use the actual defi-"

"I will fuck you up if you touch them again-"You cut Chrollo off from his sentence, you were in full-on mother mode, you were blurting out insults to Hisoka and even threatening him about him touching Killua and Gon again, you were spilling so much information right now and you didn't even know it. Illumi was no longer mad at what he had currently walked into but now was more focused on you lying to him about Kil. 10-15 minutes later you calmed down.

"This is amusing~"

"Huh!?!" You were ready to give him seconds.

"You were so furious that you did not realize you ratted out who you were protecting"

You turned to Chrollo as you were too scared to face Illumi and clearly you weren't going to face Hisoka, you look up at Chrollo for help."As much as I care for you I am not taking the fall, I need Illumi's help with assassinating the 12 dawns this is all I can manage I'm sorry y/n." You cried mentally at how straight forward he was with you, he had put his so-called job over you. Not only that, the fact that he blurted it out had confirmed that you were truly trying to hide behind another lie.

"Y/n"

"......yes" you quietly replied to Illumi.

"Where is Kil?"

"I....don't know."

"Are you lying to me?"

"No sir, they stopped by a day before you got here, and then they left without saying where he was going."

"Is that all?"

"Yes, sir?"

"Is there anything else you wanted to tell me?"

"No, sir."

"Not even about Milluki?"

"Huh?! Why would I need to tell you about Millu-" You paused for a moment thinking back, "did Milluki tell me something I needed to tell him, no that can't be it Milluki never calls me unless it benefits him and I've never once even tried to make a form of contact with him." It was about 3 minutes until it hit you. "Shit, Shit, Shit." The only thing that Illumi could find is from the Dar web. You knew very well that Illumi was like an old man with a new phone. he was fucking clueless. However, Chrollo and Hisoka you had no idea. Knowing Chrollo whatever object is seen on the Dark Web can be sold in the underground auction, but there is no way he would randomly bring that up would he? Hisoka, on the other hand, is part of the spiders as well, at least that's what you believe you feel as if he has other motives that being said if he is in the phantom troupe it is likely that Chrollo has mentioned with the Troupe of the items they would be taking, all of them. For all you know those photos can end up in any of the spider's hands, you haven't told Machi or Paku about it but you had a feeling they would keep their mouths shut or call you asking about it later. If Shizuku were to find those photos she'd probably forget or mention it and later brush it off. But what about the guys, you didn't want Kortopi's precious little eye to see it and as sure as hell you didn't want any of the guys looking either, life right now is a fucking nightmare. If they were to steal those pictures at the actions I wouldn't even get paid, curse you Chrollo. You were mentally crying on the floor in a towel. For Illumi this was a sight to behold. Not because you're naked but because of this pathetic display you were showing him. All he could do is sigh.

You sat there hoping Illumi wasn't talking about what you were thinking about. The three men could sense you were troubled which only confirmed what Hisoka and Chrollo had shown him. You only acted like this when you were concerned, troubled, or clearly, you had no idea what to do. Illumi narrowed down all the things you could tell him right now.

Options

A) You could either play dumb forcing him to tell you exactly what he is talking about

B) Tell the truth and go from there

C) Try to run away only to be hunted down by the Adultrio which did not work the first time

D) Switch up the conversation

Or

E) You could blame all on someone else

What would you choose?
