Chapter 4

It's been quiet for the past few weeks. True to her word, Rias hasn't bothered you, Skadi, or any of the Valkyries.  Over the course of the weeks though. You noticed that Rias was getting moodier. She was seen less often in school and when she was, she looked horrible. You were currently walking through the halls of Kouh, thinking about it.

"The hell is up with her?" You asked as you thought about Rias's deteriorating mood. You were so held up in your thoughts that you didn't see the person in front of you. The two of you collided as the other person fell to the floor as you remained standing. You looked down to see a familiar devil.

"Issei, are you alright?" The blond haired devil asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Who put a wall he-" He started but he stiffened up when he saw that it was you.

"(Y-Y/N)!" He yelled as the other blond devil hid behind him. You tilted your head in confusion before remembering who he was.

"Oh, you're Hyoudou right?" You asked, looking at the brown haired devil. 

"Uh yeah?" He said, a bit uncertain on what was happening.

"Listen, sorry about burning you a couple weeks back. It wasn't personal." You said. "I just had to make sure you guys weren't going to do anything else."

"Oh, right. I guess I jumped the gun a bit too." He said while laughing nervously.

"It would be better if you thought about something before jumping into the fray." You told him as he nodded his head. "I've been alive a long time, I've seen many people do what you did. Trust me. It never works out."

"I'll keep that in mind, but how old are you?" He asked as you shook your head,

"Never mind that. Do you know what's up with Rias?" You asked him as he looked at you confused.

"What do you mean?" He asked as the other devil looked curious as well. You shook your head before waving them off.

"It's nothing, maybe I should go ask that Akeno girl then." You said. "I've got to go. See you later." You said while walking away.

"What was that about?" Issei asked, finally getting off the floor.

"I don't know, but he's a lot nicer than the last time we saw him." Asia said as Issei nodded. Meanwhile you were searching for Akeno. However, you couldn't find her, but you did come across Kiba. Who was in his usual spot, in the middle of a crowd of girls. You wasted no time and moved towards him.

"Out of the way." You said while pushing through them. You then grabbed Kiba by his arm and pulled him out of the group of girls. They all screamed when they saw you taking him away. 

(Y/N), what's the matter?" He asked.

"Where's Akeno?" You asked as he looked at you confused.

"Akeno? What do you need from her?" He asked.

"I want to know what's up with Rias." You said. "What was with that look in her eyes?"

"What do you mean, 'that look in her eyes?" He asked.

"Something's up and I want to know what." You said. He sighed. There was one thing about you that he knew for certain. You were stubborn when you wanted to know something.

"I think she's just got out of PE. So she might be in the girls locker room.

"Thanks. I'll see later." You said as he waved goodbye. You quickly made your way to the girls locker room. Once you were there, you knocked on the door and waited. A minute later, a girl opened the door.
