I straighten my leather jacket before walking into the building, feeling rebellious and a bit cocky. This man I'm meeting- Jim Moriarty, he likes his employees in all snazzy suits and shit. I can't believe he owns several companies, and practically the London black market at 24 no less. I half way wonder if he's a demon himself, and I grin at the thought of a demon not under His rule. It'd make sense if he were a demon, since he's gay and whatnot. Sodomy is one of the bigger sins, though I have no clue why. You'd think it'd be something like murder. Or rape. Maybe both.
But then, I wonder why there's so many demons crawling around, eyes ablaze with hunger and lust. Only two or three are in human form, and the rest are in corporeal form, keeping hidden from the sight of humans. I try, and probably fail, to suppress a shudder. Something is wrong here. This many demons wouldn't be around someone like this unless he's either a demon or an innocent.
Finally, I get to the criminals floor and smell again. No sulfur coming off him. Odd. This man couldn't be innocent though, there were too many legends and tales about him. About Jim Moriarty, the man who cheated death by giving so many to it. Like he traded lives for fun. It just wasn't possible.
When I walk into his office however, my stomach sinks. Dozens of demons in their corporeal form are hanging around Moriarty, cooing and purring 'virgin' and 'so innocent', 'like the driven snow'. It's bloody impossible.
Only four things make you innocent:
1. No murder (So special it gets it's own number, even if it is a sin.)
2. Virginal
3. No drugs
4. No sinning
My mind can't wrap around it. A twenty-four year old who’s built the largest criminal network Britain has ever seen, and somehow he’s bloody innocent.
“Are you just going to stand there and look cute or do I have to fire you before you’re hired?” growls Moriarty. It’s easy to say I was shocked, such an innocent smell, and he has a bloody innocent voice.
“I think you’re the one who’s cute, sir.” I hum cheekily and wink, which makes the criminal blush an adorable bright crimson. Score.
“Shut up Moran. There were better picks than you for this interview, you know. You could have hardly expected to be the best.”
Actually, I’m pretty sure I was the best, since I might be the only demon at this. Maybe “boss” just needs a little loosening up. My eyes turn a dark color and I focus my energy on him, a smirk pulling at my lips.
“You know I’m the best. In everything. A bottom like you just needed to find someone to fuck him, and luckily, your man is here.” I purr. I watch him, noticing all the little details humans don’t, like how his heart is speeding up, his mouth is going dry, his eyes have widened. He wants me. I think I’ll see how this goes before I fuck him though.
“I-I've got lube-“ he is interrupted when a swooping figure barges into the office, all dramatic black curls, cheek bones, and coat that seems to be everywhere, bright icy blue eyes like aren't at all blue, snow pale skin. He’s like a bloody vampire or something. I take a deep breath and suppress the urge to growl.
Not vampire. Angel. Just my bloody luck.
“Jim, I've solved your murder. I’m bored now.” The man announces and sits in the chair beside me. Jim snaps out of the lust –which makes me curse internally- and looks at me.
“You start tomorrow. Pack your things and go to my address, I have some business to attend to.” he ordered. When I didn't move, he glared. “That means you leave. Go now. Goodbye.”
I fumed as I stood up, locking eyes with the angel.
Why are you protecting a somehow innocent criminal, I sent and watched him smirk at me.
Just so demon’s like you didn't get him. He deserves better, and the kills are mostly other criminals. If a demon corrupts him he won’t care about killing the innocent. He's too powerful to allow that.
Just so you know, I’m going to fuck him. And you can’t stop me or you’d go straight to hell. You're daddy frowns upon sodomy, and my making an innocent tainted is even more beneficial.
I smirk at his outrage and walk out, utterly pleased with myself. I decided I was going to fuck Jim Moriarty and piss the shit out of the angel.
It’s when I go home I realize the fault in those plans. I see a letter in my mailbox and it absolutely reeks of sulfur.
“Fucking hell...” I groan and open the letter, sighing.
Bring Jim Moriarty to me after you "de-throne his flower" I want him for myself, you do too. –Daddy Dearest
What in the hell does HE want with the innocent criminal? Good grief. Just when I was looking forward to having me a cute little something, boss takes it away, and will probably keep it. Shame.
Today I found out the criminal boss of Britain was innocent. Found out I’d have to fuck him to keep him safe. I then, wanted to fuck him really good. Then, boss wanted me to so he wouldn't be innocent so I could take him to hell.
Anything going on Moran, I asked myself sarcastically as I walk into my shitty flat. Nah, it’s pretty average really. I think back to Jim. If he wasn't doing the murdering, who was? And why did everyone think he was the one committing them? Most mysteries may be better off unsolved, my cautious side warns me. Good thing that side isn't very big.
Curiosity wins and I start packing, getting ready to go to the criminals flat.
“I wouldn't try for Jim Moriarty if I were you.” A woman purrs liltingly and I turn my head to look at her. She’s bloody beautiful. Dark, raven black hair, all curves and angles (considering she’s only in a thin robe), ice blue eyes and definitely demon. Bloody wonderful. At least she’s interesting. Or could be given a little time.
“And why not?” I hum. Her eyes turn freezing deadly.
“Because he’s mine. You better well learn that.” She hisses. And with no more words, she leaves, all cheekbones and curls and flowing robe. I'm confused and only more intrigued.
Time to start living with the man everyone wants, I think in amusement, picking up my box of things. My self included.
