Tyler's pov
She drops out and I look down and she lands on the ground with a thud, she looks up and frantically waves at me to come down. I let go and drop down, when I land I immediately grab her hand and start running. I can feel her start to slow down once we reach the center of town, and we both slow to a walk.
There's no one here chasing us, but I'm on the look out for anyone suspicious. "uhh where should we go now?" I hear a small voice whimper, "we're going to the safe house about 200 miles that way" I say pointing north "can we take breaks I don't feel like running or walking anymore I can't breath..."
"What do you mean you can't breath?"
"I have asthma and all this running I can't really breath... I'm sorry" she squeaks starting to sob. "hey hey it's ok, I'm not going to yell at you." I say as I pull her into my chest. I scoop her up and carry her into the woods where the safe house is.
Scar slowly falls asleep in my arms she's pretty light so it's not that hard to carry her. I make it to the safe house as the sun starts to rise, because of not having to stop and keeping a steady pace jogging we made it there pretty fast. I open the door and bring her into one of the rooms and tuck her in the bed. as I walk out of the room she whispers "no don't leave me please..."
