NO SPOILER CHAPTER

WYLIE ENDAL- HUFFLEPUFF

Wylie is super loyal to his father, even though it's been over a decade and he could easily have blamed Prentice for growing up an orphan. Wylie's also super hard working, and very "strong and silent" as the Gryffindor Quidditch team girls once described Cedric Diggory.

STINA HEKS- HUFFLEPUFF

Stina is pretty snarky most of the time, but she is undeniably hard-working when it comes to getting revenge on Dex and helping her family become worthy of Nobility. She's also demonstrated her loyalty by standing by her parents despite all the rumors that their Match status was altered to make them a good match. Stina reminds me of a slightly better version of Zacharias Smith.

GRADY RUEWEN- GRYFFINDOR

Grady is awesome. He lassos dinosaurs for his job. Grady is definitely one to stand up for whatever he believes in and take action. I also think that he's super brave and rather chivalrous when it comes to standing up for his loved one's honour.

EDALINE RUEWEN- RAVENCLAW

Edaline is completely underrated. She's extremely intelligent, and I honestly think that she dispenses just as many insightful sayings as Alden (although perhaps with a bit more variety). Gryffindor was a close second for Edaline because of the dinosaur-wrangling, but I think that ultimately Edaline is more about wisdom, thinking, and the generosity that comes with that perspective.

COUNCILOR BRONTE- GRYFFINDOR

I could literally change my mind every hour, but I'm going to say Bronte is a THING. I used process of elimination here. While he does use his position to inflict (no pun intended) his will, I don't believe Bronte became a Councillor for power. So Slytherin is out. I don't think that hard work or loyalty is a defining aspect of his personality, so he's not a Hufflepuff. Lots of his actions in further books prove that he is kind of a visionary, but I think it's more based on his ideals than a Ravenclaw-like creativity. So that leaves... Gryffindor. I don't think that he's a super Gryffindor-y Gryffindor, but he is definitely not afraid to (bluntly) speak his mind, which is a sort of bravery. He's also stubborn and practical, which do fit with Gryffindor traits.

COUNCILLOR KENRIC- HUFFLEPUFF

Um, duh. Kenric is the cinnamon roll of the series, meaning he's super dedicated and kind. Enough said.

COUNCILLOR ORALIE- GRYFFINDOR

Much like Bronte, I had a really hard time with Oralie (especially taking into account the character developments you see throughout the series). I feel like everyone's initial reaction is that Oralie is a Hufflepuff because she's so nice, and she's plenty selfless too. But... I would argue she's a Gryffindor. Oralie's reasons for staying a Councillor are definitely noble, since she is willing to ignore/put on hold a real relationship with Kenric. Oralie is also willing to take a stand against the popular train of thought and risk her own reputation and safety to help save her world (if you are far enough in the series you get this). So, Oralie is a Gryffindor.

ALDEN VACKER- RAVENCLAW

This one was pretty obvious to me. While Alden's catch phrase- "no reason to worry"- may not always hold true, he is undoubtedly an insightful elf. He is a visionary who works to create a better, more inclusive world, and he tends to see things in ways others don't. For those reasons, Alden is a Ravenclaw.

DELLA VACKER- SLYTHERIN

OK, hear me out. Della has a ton of power that she uses for good, but she wields it from the background (like an awesome version of Slughorn). She isn't one to go after glory. She is also very talented at reading situations and getting what she wants out of them, although most of the time she seems to be using this talent to keep her children and their friends under control.

ALVAR VACKER- SLYTHERIN

Alvar's smart, but not in a philosophical way like Ravenclaw's are. He combines his cunning with his Vanishing in order to be in the right place at the right time, find out what he wants to undetected, and juggle three girlfriends.
