I remember the day, the day you were taken away, we shout, we cry, why couldn't you stay?
It's horrible, It's shocking, the ultimate hell,
My head is spinning, this shouldn't be allowed,
You're happy, you're loved, you're amazing to me
How can it be that you're not here with me ?
Without you life isn't the same,
How do we go on, who is to blame?
Our last conversation replays in my head,
You rang to chat, then said you were off to bed.
We fly over, some of your friends are there,
Everyone has thoughts and feelings to share,
The tears keep coming, they don't seem to stop,
Maybe you'd just gone to the shop,
It's all a lie and you're ok,
Please someone, say it's all a mistake!
You are so loved, it shows on their face,
We loved you too , but it wasn't enough,
In that moment enough was enough,
And so you conspired to end the pain,
Another angel for heaven to gain,
If only you knew we'd never be the same.
I'm angry, I'm bitter and full of hate,
I'm sad, I cry, I start to shake,
I'm guilty, I'm scared and totally distraught!,
Left with nothing but thousands of thoughts.
Back home, life continues,
mum is bad, our relationship got pretty bad,
We close up, we won't talk much,
We protect one another , too scared we'll worry each other,
I worry for mum and what she may do,
maybe if she joins you I will too!,
I can't live without her and I can't live without you
Our hearts broken and everyone stares,
No one understands, we can't talk to each other,
So councillor appointments for both of us are made,
I say I want to die too, if you can do it, I can too,
Life isn't worth it without you, nor without mum if she's thinking of it too.
Some days are good, some days are not,
I get sad and I get angry that you're not around,
Especially when that time comes back around,
Other times I'm happy and I wish you could see,
I wish you were here to share it with me.
When you're touched by suicide, you're touched by pain,
The truth is you'll never be the same,
Memories live on and your love all the same,
That's all from me until we meet again.
I love you and I miss you.
