Chapter 23: Trouble Walks In

Xandria's POV

Oh dear heavens, why does trouble always walks in just when I think it's already a victory? I've been hoping to set off this island safe and sound, but then Don Quixote Doflamingo shows his face up!

AAAARRGGHH! But I know this isn't the best time to be moaning so I locked my eyes on Doflamingo, trying to give him chills the best I can with my glare.

"Answer me, What are you doing here?" He asked me again. This time, he went towards me and caressed my right cheek. I turned away my gaze upon his actions and I saw Zoro drawing his sword so I controlled him with my mind, pulling him towards my direction and slammed him to Robin and Chopper. I don't want him to get hurt. I'm the one that Doflamingo wants. Not him nor Amelia.

He looked at me as if questioning me why I did that. I gave him a reassuring smile which he seemed to understand since he nodded at me and waited for my next actions. I can feel Amelia behind me, her eyes gazing at me and Doflamingo.

"Isn't it obvious, Doflamingo? I'm here because I would never ever serve under someone as filthy as you." I spit at his face after I snapped back. I'm aware of his power. How he can control people using strings and kill people without even laying a hand on them but I think I can surpass that.

Doflamingo took a few steps away from me and did his signature laugh. Once he raised his hand up to chest level, I knew that he's going to control either one of us. So I quickly set forth my hands and controlled him, making his own hand point towards him.

Feels like I'm giving him a dose of his own medicine.

"You think I'm not aware of your devil fruit ability?" He sarcastically asked while giving me an annoying smirk. Then suddenly I saw an army in the sky coming towards our ship.

"Seems like you brought company." Amelia said, taking out her scourge. I saw Zoro draw out all his swords, placing one on his mouth. Some of them jumped down on the ship while the others are targeting the ship with high class weapons. Zoro and Amelia started to defend themselves. This gave me the urge to beat this bastard down.

"You sure know how to piss off an enemy!" I shouted at him. I turned my hand into fist which gripped Doflamingo's right hand hard. I raised him high into the air and gripped his hand harder. I could feel his bones break upon my hand.

I saw him flinch and he tried to raise his left hand but I controlled it as well with my other hand. Grasping his hands with mine so that he couldn't control me, I slammed him on the floor of the deck countless times with my mind. I saw how his body strike the floor hard and bounce back to the air.

"Doffy!" Someone exclaimed. And then I heard a gunshot. I felt a bullet go straight through my right arm. Then another one on my stomach, slightly left below my belly button. The pain I felt made me release my control of Doflamingo.

And slowly, I felt myself stumble down the deck, I heard another gunshot but instead of a bullet, I felt the both of my hands tied up with seastone shackles. And realisation hit me. Maybe this is the time that I had to wake up from my dream. Maybe this is the time that I had to go back to reality, to where I'm really from. But then I heard his voice. His voice, which keeps on telling myself not to wake up from this fantasy.

"Xandria!" I heard him shout. I kept my eyes open so that I can see him. He slowly walked towards me, his worried eyes locked on mine. I wanted to move my hand and take his but even before he reached me, a lot of men from Doflamingo's army piled up between us.

I wanted to stand up, to untie myself up, to fight, but I just can't . I felt so strong yet so weak. I never thought that only two bullets and sea stone shackles would bring me down.

I heard Doflamingo's signature laugh.

I turned my gaze to him. He's walking towards me, his subordinates making way for him. His broken bones in his hands seemed to return to normal due to his devil fruit ability. Once he's close enough to me, he bend on his knees then picked me up painfully by my hair. The pain made me close my eyes. It's as if my scalp is going to be separated from my head. Add the gunshots that are making me bleed to death.

"Let's see what will your captain do." He said and the next thing I knew, I'm with him on the clouds. His hands creating strings to gather them up. It actually looks like we're flying. I saw how Zoro was still slashing his swords with fury. How Amelia fights with hope for the sake of her child.

but wait....

I suddenly forgot the pain I'm feeling when I remembered it...

They were with us when Doflamingo came...

Where the hell is Robin and Chopper??

Robin's POV

When Doflamingo was so busy pissing off Xandria-chan, I noticed that I'm standing on the door leading to the soldier dock system along with Chopper. I saw how Xandria-chan controlled Zoro and once she slammed him to us, I took the chance to open it and slip inside with Chopper.

Zoro looked at me and I assured him that I have a plan. That's explains why we're here in the mini going merry. I was alarmed when I saw Doflamingo flying in the sky with Xandria-chan. I need to do do something about her but first I have to Help Zoro and Amelia-san with this army.

"Chopper, get a little bit further from the ship." I told him and he immediately controlled the wheel. There are still a lot of men shooting down the ship. Thousand sunny won't be able to handle the damage any longer. I have to stop those people. I crossed my hands just below my chin and meditated.

"Gigantesco Mano. Clutch" I quietly said then I saw big copies of my hands growing on their flying ships and crushed them into pieces. Men falling on the sea. My hands grew on the Thousand Sunny as well, stomping on our enemies but carefully excluding Amelia and Zoro.

"Robin, I think Doflamingo and Xandria is going back to David's mansion." Chopper told me and I nodded as I follow my gaze to their direction. Once I saw that there aren't enough people to stand before us and fight us, I told Chopper to pull over the ship.

"Amelia-san, Zoro! Jump in!" I shouted and they quickly hopped in the mini going merry. We let Amelia-san to stir the wheel and lead us although she was going out of balance at first but eventually, she got used to it and is now controlling the vehicle fast.

"We have to make it in time." Zoro said, wiping off blood from the blades of his swords.

"Well, I hope Xandria-chan didn't get killed by Doflamingo." I said casually, brushing my hair with my fingers.

"Oi Robin! Stop scaring us like that!" Chopper exclaimed and I saw how Zoro's eyes glared at me so darkly which made my lips twitch up. I love how the both of them care for each other.

But I wonder what will happen if Xandria's gone.
