Here goes nothing, I thought as I set in front of a white one-story house with a screened in porch wrapped around it.

“Are you okay?” I heard Harry ask, breaking me out of my thoughts.

“Yeah,” I said, shaking my head. “Come on, let’s get this over with.”

As I made my way up to the house with Paul, Harry, and Landon following behind me, I decided to take Harry’s advice for real this time.

Let whatever happen, happen and deal with the outcome when it arrives.

I stepped onto the porch and knocked on the door.

“You must be Niall?” a woman who looked to be about my height said. She had blonde hair and blue eyes.

“Yes ma’am, I am,” I said, reaching my hand out for her to shake.

“Well, come in. How was the drive?”  she asked closing the door behind her.

“It was good,” I smiled. “Oh, by the way this is Harry, one of my best friends, and our body guards, Paul and Landon.” I pointed to each of them.

“Nice to meet you, ma’am,” they said as she shook their hands.

“I’m Ashley,” she introduced herself. “My husband is in the living room, if you follow me I’ll introduce you to him.”

The inside of the house was a bright yellow with pictures lining the walls. Walking down the hallway, I noticed some pictures of brown hair, brown eyed girl that looked like my parents. I couldn’t decide who she looked like more; she had features of both of them. Almost the way I pictured her.

Harry must’ve seen me staring at the pictures because he patted me on the back, telling me to go on.

“Seth, we have company,” Mrs. Wright told a dark-haired man who was sitting in a recliner watching TV. He turned it off and stood up.

“Hello, I’m Seth,” he introduced his self, holding out his hand for all of us to shake. Paul, Harry, Landon and I introduced ourselves as well.

“I have lunch ready if any of you are hungry,” Mrs. Wright spoke up.

We followed her into a room where a big dining table set in the middle.

“Have a seat everyone,” she said, walking out to get the food I’m guessing.

She came back a few minutes later with a rectangular dish in her hands. She set it down between all of us.

“I made Goulash, I hope that’s okay?”  She smiled.

“Yes, that’s fine, Mrs. Wright.”

I took a look at what was in the dish. It was rice and looked like it had hamburger meat on top of it.

“Believe it or not, I’ve never had Goulash. In fact, I don’t think any of us have.” I looked around at the others.

“Oh, if you don’t like it I can make something else.”

“Oh, no, ma’am, that’s okay. It looks good,” Harry said.

“Okay, but if you don’t like it, please let me know,” Ashley said, giving us a look.

“Yes ma’am,” Harry and I said, laughing.

The meal was good. I think we all had at least two servings of it. While we ate, the Wrights asked Harry and me about what it’s like being in a band and on the road most of the time. They also asked Paul and Landon what it was like being our body guards. We had some good laughs.

Now we are headed back into the living room to talk about Brittney.

When we all were seated I started talking.

“So, I know you are probably wondering how I know about Brittney, right? Well, first, let me warn you that this is going to sound weird. Three months ago, I started having dreams of a girl who I believe to be Brittney. At first, I didn’t think anything of it but then I had one where she was in a car wreck. It felt so real that I had to know if there was any truth behind it, so I got some advice from my friends and went to talk to my parents: that’s when they told me I had a sister and that’s what led me here.”

The wrights looked at each other and back at me.

“We don’t have a problem with you knowing or meeting Brittney, but we must tell you that your dream about her is true. She was in a wreck and it was pretty bad. When the paramedics got to the scene her car was flipped over on its hood, they had to get back to it up right position. Luckily, they got her out before it caught on fire.”

Oh, no. I knew it. The wreck happened just like my dream indicated.

Mr. Wright looked down, taking a deep breath. I could tell that took a lot out of him to tell me.

“If you don’t mind, can you tell me what happened?”

“Sure,” Mrs. Wright said. “Mr. Wright and I decided to tell Brittney she was adopted, but as you can see the outcome of revealing the truth ended badly.”

I felt so bad for the Wrights

“Is she going to be alright?”

Yes, thankfully, she is going to be fine. However, she just came out of coma about a week ago.

Just like my dream, again.

“Does she know everything that happened to her?”

“No, Right now, she’s suffering from memory loss. The only thing she knows is her name and how old she is. She’ll ask who you are, what year it is, and what day it is every time you go to visit her she’ll also ask you what happened to her, but the doctors advised us not to tell her at this moment.” Mrs. Wright started to cry.

Mr. Wright pulled his wife into a hug.

“Mr. and Mrs. Wright, I know you said I could meet Brittney, but maybe I should wait?” I said.

“Let us talk to her doctors first, and see what they say and will get back to you.  We would hate for you to have come all this way and not get to meet her,” Mr. Wright said.

“Okay, just let me know,” I said. “Well, we are going to get going. Thank you for your time, Mr. and Mrs. Wright.

“Oh, you’re welcome, son,” Mr. Wright said, walking us to the door.

I guess it’s up to the doctors whether I get to meet my sister or not…

NOTE: I want to clear some things up just in case you get confused. Paul and Landon already know about Niall's dreams. And he didn't ask if it was raining on the night of the wreck because he thought that if everything else was true about his dream, that was, too. Oh, and I also skipped time ahead.
