In the cool midnight air we can see a figure dressed in a light gray jumper and dark gray jogging bottoms sprinting towards what looks to be a small two story house.

Gabriel- "ah God damn it! Why today of all days!"

The rain covers his form blowing his hood back revealing a older teen looking to be around 18 years of age with light brown hair and light gray eyes which seem the be twitching in annoyance.

As he reaches the front door his hands fumble around in his pocket looking for something however just as he was about to pull it out the item fall from his grasp showing a key ring with only two keys attach. Mumbling a soft swear he quickly reaches down and pick them up and opens the door.

Gabriel- "*sigh* home sweet home" a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

Turing the light on shows a room that seems rarely use with dust clinging to almost every piece of furniture which truly show the lack of use. Looking around there is a single games console with a small collection of games however only one is visible which the teen seems to be glaring at.

Dark ghost 3

Gabriel- "Today... TODAY IS THE DAY I BEAT NAMED KING" a small amount of madness in his voice.

Ah I forgot to introduce are protagonist didn't I? (suddenly in the neptunia world neptune shouts out "YOU LIE I'M ALWAYS THE PROTAGONIST" earning her an hour long lecture from histoire) Well this is Gabriel a university student who is studying psychology and physics. Standing at around 5'7 and with a slim build its easy to see that he doesn't focus on the more let's say *physical* aspect of health however he is extremely proud of both his hair and eyes which one insult will set him off.

Personality wise if you were to ask him he would describe himself as a quote "asshole with a lazy streak" however if you asked his friend they would say the same except add one thing "God forgive anyone who comes in between him and a goal and the moment you have a problem he will go full sherlock on you."

"AHHHHHHHHH"

umm we sould probably check back in with are ahem "hero."

Gabriel- "F*cking piece of undead scum!" he screams as he dies (once again) to the named king "Who made this abomination of a camera!" (let's hope he never finds bloodb*rn)

Sighing as he puts down the controler "OK no more games for tonight" as he heads upstairs into his room. Entering his room you can see that is looks quite bland to be honest a bed in the far left corner, a bookshelf showing a mix of both human psychology and manga, a computer tucked away in the far right corner showing years of use if the fade on the keys are anything to go by and the last notable thing is a poster which seems to be a man in gold and a man in black in a dead lock with what appears to be ghost fight alongside them. (free cookie to the first to guess who)

Flopping down onto his bed, Gabriel just stares at the ceiling.

Gabriel- 'is this it? Just waking up to go to uni, listen to lectures, go home, do a little bit  gaming then sleep and repeat? *sigh* I wish something more fun would happen'

???- "want me to help?"

Gabriel- "AH damn!"

The sudden voice makes Gabriel fall off his bed and hit the ground hard "ow ow ow" looking up he can see what only can be described as a white figure and by that I don't mean a figure in all white no literary a figure of pure white energy in the shape of a humanoid.

As Gabriel stares at the figure he hears again.

??? "do you want me to help?"

Gabriel "h-help? w-with what?"

??? "help with your wish of something exciting, something new or something different I can help you with all these things with a cost."

Gabriel "and what would that cost be?" his tone laced with suspicion.

??? "simple" it answers "just a favour. One simple favour and I'll make your life less boring."

Gabriel 'damn it' he thought 'This is totally one of the deal with the devil type things but...' "what do I have to lose. Let's do this!"

Gabriel jumps up as he says this and the entity looks to be taken a back.

??? "a-are you sure? Just like that no question?" The being sounds both shocked and in disbelief.

Gabriel "well yeah of course there's no fun in just staying back and being safe but let me ask one thing... Will I still be on earth?" after a moment of silence the entity answers.

??? "No... you will be take to a new world to experience what ever you wish" Gabriel sighs but seems to harden himself.

Gabriel "let's do it"

All is silent till a sound starts and it seems to be getting louder? It takes him a second but he realises its from the figure in front of him it seems to be laughing?

??? "hehe you really are interesting aren't you Gabriel just for that I'll give you something for the road" as the being is saying this it lifts it's hand forming a multicoloured orb.

Gabriel "I swear down if you put the near m-AH" mid way through his sentence the orb shoots into his chest filling his head with ideas and methods on how to use a power that is very familiar to him.

Gabriel "wait this is..." before he can finish a portal opens behind him "what! I'm not ready yet, you asshole!" The being laughs once again.

??? "go now Gabriel! Enjoy you time in a new home" It exclaimed as Gabriel gets sucked in.

Gabriel "You asshole!!!" is the last thing Gabriel said on earth and now we will see what are shopkeeper will down in a world of monsters, goddesses and forth wall brakes!

Ahh that the first chapter down now I know we didn't get into neptunia in this chapter but don't worry the next chapter will be all about Gabriel exploring and choosing what to do in this new world!
