Summary: Kokichi works up the guts to let down his wall for Shuichi
Kokichi's pov
It's obvious to everyone I like Shuichi it's really not a secret at this point I've confessed to him many times but of course I cover it up with a lie in all honesty I'm not ready to be rejected by my beloved but due to the avocados peer pressure my current situation is that I'm going on a date with Shuichi in a few hours it started a little something like this
Avocado🥑: Come on bro you've loved him for at least 3 months now!
Panta🍇: And?
Avocado🥑: Just ask him already!
Panta🍇: Not a hope in hell!
Avocado🥑: What if in turn I ask out Keade
Panta🍇: Neheehee I'm listning~
Avocado:🥑: Listen if I ask Keade out you have to ask Shuichi you don't even have to say it a date just go somewhere with him!
Panta🍇: This is going to be interesting okay I'll do it!~
I laugh to myself Rantaro really set himself up but a supreme leader can't have broken promises on his conscious so I have to follow through

I put my phone down and hide my face in my hands I really did it oh welp its 5 so I might as well start getting ready neheehee this really is gonna be fun I put on my usual clothes where am I even gonna take him I guess the park would be nice oh! that gives me an idea

I steady my breathing as I walk in the house I pat down my clothes and open his bedroom door putting on my mischievous smile "Saihara chan!!" I jump on the taller boy taking him by suprise "WOAH! Jeez O-Ouma y-you scared m-me" I get on my tip toes so I'm on the same level "Since you wanted this to be a date surely you should be using my first name" I wink and watch as Shumais face turns red "I-I y-you were t-the one who a-asked" I shrug and take his hand "Oh well technicalities who cares anyway lets go!" the cold air hits my lungs it's nice having night time strolls "A-Are we g-going a-anywhere spesific?" Shuichi asks even in the dark I can see his blush "Neheehee you'll have to wait and see" "You're n-not gonna d-do anything bad r-right?" I sigh "Awe there goes the fun you got me..." I turn to see the taller panic Atua he's fun to play with "That was just a lie! you'll see when we get there we're not far now" Once we got to the spot I took a deep breath and looked around at my surroundings to ground myself and to calm myself "So Shuichi the real reason I brought you here is" I lean inches apart from his face "To kill you" "W-Wait what!" I grab his shoulders and pull him to the floor before rolling off and laughing hysterically "Neheehee that was just a lie" I rush over the the switch and press it lighting up a small section of the park with fairy lights and showing a picnic basket in the distance along with a blanket "Wow I really owe it to Keebo I'm suprised a robot knows how to be romantic" "Heh Keebo w-would be mad i-if he o-overheard that" I giggle and nod before taking him over to the blanket and sitting down with him we talk and eat after a while we're on the floor laughing talking about stupid things the world feels... Normal for once I feel safe but eh he just thinks I'm lying I look at him and see the red on his face confusing me a little I feel him tuck something behind my ear

A-A flower I blush red and look up at him "Wow romantic are we now?" I smirk and hold his hand and kiss it gently I didn't think he could get any more red at this point "K-Kokichi!" "You know its not a lie my beloved" I get rid of my usual mischievous smile and replace it with a nervous one "I do really like you Mister detective" I step closer "For real real neheehee~" I hesitate a bit "I know you like meeeee~" I turn to Shumai and see a cute little confident smile "W-Well your n-not wrong" I feel my heart stop a little "Awe you're making me blushhh" I wink and turn a little before turning back the world feels still and perfect he looks so beautiful I smirk and kiss him he instantly kisses back taking me by suprise a little we evuentually pull away "Wowie this date went better then I expected!" I hear Shuichi laugh and it's like music to my ears "Y-Yeah i-it d-did heh" I feel my face heat up a little as I start packing up I take Shuichis hand in mine and start walking him home on the way there we talk about tonight's events and what we're gonna do tomorrow we plan on meeting up with the group tomorrow and seeing how they react to us just being friendly at first we're not dating yet but I can't wait "Goodnight Shuichi~ love ya" "N-Night Kokichi l-love you too" I watch as Shuichi goes into his house before taking a slow stroll home.
