Sandcastles

The air was clear, a little foggy supposedly. The ocean was rather cold, but it was decent enough for visitors. Josh Dun had invited a few friends, since one of them was a lifeguard and let him and their friends free, it was like a $2.00 entry to enter the beach. Josh stepped out of the car and stared out into the beach, it was rather beautiful in his opinion, and nothing could change his mind.

"Josh? We leaving yet?"

"Huh?" Josh blinked, he was daydreaming and he turned around, it was Ryan Seaman, who was part of a band called IDKHBTFM, along with his friend Dallon Weekes, who was getting all of the lovely crap out of the car for them.

"Yeah, we'll be leaving shortly, once Dallon gets all of the stuff out."

"Already done, your highness." Dallon joked, he was quite tired since they did have to get up very early, and he just chugged 3 cups of coffee.

The other friends who came, Pete Wentz, Nicole Row, Guy-Manuel De Homem Christo or Guy-Man, Andy Hurley, and Joe Trohman were waiting patiently for the three of them to get going. They were finally done getting stuff out of the car, they all went to the beach. It is rather hot, not too hot to the point where you would get a heat warning.

After a while of being at the beach, Andy, who was the lifeguard who let them in, slicked his hair back with water and let them know that they had to leave. As everyone was packing things up, it was already nighttime, and Josh was almost done perfecting a sandcastle, when he saw something flash in the water, he looked again, and then when he looked again, he saw something he'd had to have been dreaming for, a small merman was watching him finish the sandcastle, his tail was a navy blue kind, it was glittering against the moonlight and his body was beautiful, he had a skinny little figure and a lot of cool swirls surrounding his chest and arms. His hands were blue, the same color as his tail, but what caught Josh the most was his face, brown eyes that could stare into your soul, his dark brown hair was slicked into a quiff due to the water, and his skin was sparkling.

"W-wha? H- huh?!"

"..........."

"Do you talk at all?"

"Yes...."

Tyler was normally a giant extrovert, but he was shy when he was talking with the human race. He looked at the sandcastle, then went back in the water and got seashells and helped decorate it. It was now more beautiful than ever.

"Dang dude, this is amazing..."

Tyler blushed a deep blue,

"Thank you..."

"Are you actually a..... You know?"

Tyler quietly nodded, then lifted his finger to his lips, as of a shh kinda thing and then slid back into the water.

"Woah....."

That day changed Josh's life forever.
