5.3 Abandoned King

Cupids Coffee Shop was the shop that Selena build after she find out the original's body money under her bed sheet. Seems that the original wasn't that loose to money because every coin was well keep, Selena was had sudden fell quiet after finding out that the original body was an orphan. Craving for love that she didn't receive but no one had paid attention to her, she grew up in the orphanage until the right age where she left and make a live of her own.

Because her coffee shop was near at the school she just open it at night. Where she hired only one person, in counter. The shop boom in just a blink of an eye, she doesn't need work but just sit around and boss every employee.

As she sat, she felt the emptiness in her heart. Tears fell from her eyes as she stared at the space blankly. Her heart is beating and she know it was breaking because a certain someone finally manage to enter her heart but that soul is far away from her. That soul belongs from another world and she know that she can't be with him even if she badly want to.

[Host. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, I accidentally unsealed your past emotions. I sealed them again]

No need. I guess, they're might be use in this world. Selena stopped and wipe the tears in her eyes.

The staff were shocked upon seeing their boss crying so suddenly. Because other than any emotions, it was the first time they seen their boss having emotional distress. She was usually expressionless or she might smile but it was a cold one.

"Boss?"

"I'm going for a walk", she said with a wave. Underneath the night sky, cold wind blew but Selena didn't feel anything. She sat at the stone facing the countless stars above the dark horizon.

She knew that someone is watching her. Maybe not now but for a long time but she ignore it. This is why she hated being emotional because she know that emotions will be the end of her. She look at her side when she felt a warm blanket was placed on her. No it wasn't a blanket but a jacket.

"You'll get yourself cold if you let yourself uncover", Jiang Yu said with a frown. Selena arch her brow, she didn't do anything but why do the protagonist keep on coming to her? Last time, she accidentally met the male lead in a mall and now this female lead sticking herself to her like a glue. If she only knew that a certain prince is stalking her like crazy, she might puke blood even more.

"I'm not weak to easily get cold you know", she said coldly and put the jacket back to the female lead. She stagger and close her eyes preparing for the impact but she only fell in a soft body. She frown as she open her eyes to find herself on top of the female lead.

Her already dark face become gloomy even more. She pushed herself up and never look back at the stunned woman.

The next day, even Selena didn't wanted to go to school she wake herself up. She open the shower and let the cold water wake her senses up. After the cold shower she shivers but stared at the reflection in the mirror, long black curly hair paired with coffee brown eyes. She lazily look for a scissors and chop her hair up to her shoulders. She ignored the contact lenses and pick the big round eyeglasses. She wear her uniform and stared again at the reflection. Maybe now that she change her style, those protagonist must stay away from her. She just go back to the original body's look before she met the prince.

Selena must devoted herself too much to the point of forgetting her own self. But she is Xin Lei in a soul. Even if she used Selena's body, it's all right. No need to sacrifice more points just because she had the guilt.
