Ash, Doc, Lion, Finka, Kapkan and Thermite are being deployed to a research lab to extract a scientist who has samples of the disease, unfortunately, the place is infested with zombie grunts and there is only a slim chance the Dr is still alive. Team rainbow take that chance in hope they can clutch a chance to save the human race from a bigger threat than any other disease has ever posed.
They arrive at the the lab to find the doors jammed shut.
"Jordan you're up" directed Ash.
Thermite places a large charge on the door and they all stand back, weapons aiming.
"Time to open this bitch up" he smirked as he triggered the charge.
The charge melts through the door before exploding, opening a new doorway and they all enter through, flashlights on.
Kapkan, the Russian takes rear point, Ash takes lead.
Another door ahead, I got this. Said Ash .
She takes a knee and places her weapon by her feet before pulling her breach launcher from her belt, she takes aim and fires it.
The round pierces the door before blowing it open.
She picks up her weapon and they advance.
"We're making a lot of noise" sighed Doc.
"Who gives a fuck, they're gonna know we're here sooner or later" replies Thermite.
Finka hears a noise.
"Get ready for company we have hostiles!" She alerted.
All hell breaks loose and everyone opens fire, the zombies surround them and they do great holding off the first wave.
"Good job team, let's keep moving!" Directed Ash.
"That was only a portion of what were about to face" said Kapkan.
"Yeah we'll be ready for anything" said Ash.
As they advance Doc points out something.
"This place is wrecked, I'm not even sure if she's alive anymore" he sighed.
"Even if she isn't, we can recover evidence and bring it back, it'll be a setback without her but we can still progress" replies Finka.
The squad enter a hallway into sector 3, they advance slowly.
Suddenly zombies burst from the air vents above and drop down and charge them.
"Ambush!!" Yelled Ash.
The squad open fire and push forwards, shooting everything that moves.
"They're behind us!" Yelled Kapkan.
They push forward and clear the front.
"Everyone move your asses!!" Yelled Ash.
They all make a run for the door and as they run, Finka and Lion provide covering fire.
"You guys go we will find another way around!" Yelled Finka.
The team go through a set of automatic doors and Thermite sets the controls to lock.
The team get a last view of Finka and lion fighting off the horde before the door closes and cuts them all off.
As they push on, they can hear the distant cracks of gunfire through the door behind them.
The team stop to catch a breath.
"Jesus Christ I've never been so scared in my life" huffed Jordan.

The gunfire stops and everyone looks towards the door, then at each other.
"Are they dead?" Questioned Kapkan.
"We're about to find out" replies Ash.
After a few moments later Lion speaks down the radio.
"This is Lion, me and Finka have drawn the attention of almost all of the zombies in the building, I'd take the chance now to go grab that doctor!" Yells Lion as gunfire echoes in the background.
"We got it... we're moving! Hold them off as long as you can! Ash out!" Replied Ash.
They stop talking and Ash directs the team forward and they advance.
On the way they kill a few zombies on the way and they enter through a door into a huge atrium.
Research sector is on the right.
"My guess is that her head office is to the right through that door, come on let's go!" Said Ash.
They take a few steps and then the ground shakes.
"What the fuck was that?" Muttered Thermite.
Suddenly, a giant creature, identical to the one they previously encountered, bursts through the ground and roars at them.
"Oh fuck, boss battle time?" Joked Thermite.
"Everyone HAUL ASS!!" Yelled Ash.
They all make a dash for the research door.
"I thought we already killed that bastard!" Huffed Doc.
"Yeah so did I!" Yelled Ash.
They all make it through the door and Ash locks it behind them.
"Why didn't we shoot the fucker!" Sighed Thermite.
"You wanna waste ammo? They're not easy to kill" replied Doc.
"Everyone stop for a minute... okay? Just quit it! We have a mission to do!" Ash declared.
Meanwhile, Finka and Lion are cleaning up the remaining infected, they both catch a breath and reload their weapons.
"Just another day on the job" Finka commented, sarcastically.
They get a radio message from Ash.
"Finka, lion, this is Ash we have the doctor secure! We have to grab a few things and then we will rendezvous with you at the extraction point" updated Ash.
"Copy that, we will sit tight until you get here" replies Finka.
Back in the building the scientist is going through her office grabbing all evidence files and documents and even samples of a vaccine.
"You have a lab at the quarantine?"
Ash looks at Doc.
Doc looks at ash and then nods at Mackintosh.
"Great! You guys need to find the nest and destroy it, for good, it's somewhere in this building"
"What's the plan?" Asked Thermite.
"I'll create a vaccine, but you guys need
To destroy the nest"
"Okay let's split into teams..." said Ash.
Ash hands Mackintosh her pistol and gives her a couple of magazines with bullets.
"Use this, I'll go with you" She adds.
"Thermite, Doc and kapkan go take out that nest, and haul ass to the extraction point" she orders.
Ash looks at the dr and directs her and leads the way.
Thermite and the other two make their way to the testing sector and clear the corridors of infected.
They come to an overlook of the test room and see it is completely infested.
"Thermite your charges may be good for this... go plant them and we will watch your back" said Doc
They slowly advance to the nest core and Thermite slowly and steadily places a Thermite charge on the wall near it's heart.
"It's blood is flammable, we know that... so blowing up your charge will set it ablaze and ultimately kill it" explained Doc.
"I'm not even gonna ask how you know all this shit" he sighed.
Thermite stands back and sets the charge alight.
Meanwhile ash and the doctor are almost at the entrance when the ground shakes and they hear a loud bang.
"They did it" the doctor smiled.
"They did, that's one less thing to worry about"
As they make their way over a nearby hill to the extraction, they are Finka stood atop the corpse of the large zombie-creature they encountered.
"I heard this bastard was giving you trouble, so we give it one hell of a put-down" she grinned.
"It's not the first but it's definitely the last" replies Ash.
The rest of the squad emerge and they all regroup.
"That was one hell of a rodeo!" Smiled Thermite.
"Here's the chopper! We're going home" States Kapkan, cheerfully.
"Drinks on me!" Said Thermite.
