Ch. 9 "Discusion"

I don't know how Isaac did it but he convinced Jackson to tell the Sheriff that he actually never saw our dad abuse us, I'm currently in the passenger seat of Derek's Camaro He stopped in front of my school, 

"Alley I will pick you up here after school okay," Derek said 

I nodded 

"If I'm not here just wait for me okay don't wander off," He said 

I nodded 

ever since I met Derek and the others Derek has become this kinda father figure, Protective and caring over me, it's different a good different 

I got out heading inside I peek out to see him gone 

"Good now I can figure out what is going on," I said to myself

I walked out of the school heading to the high school, I'm gonna find out what my brother and the others are hiding,

I'm peeking in the window of the class my brother is and watch, they are doing some kind of experiment 

I see a boy with dark hair and eyes, I've seen him before he plays Lacrosse with Isaac he's first line I thought 

the Boy screams Lydia! the girl looks at him 

"Never mind" He said 

something is going on and I am going to find out, I thought 

I follow Derek and Boyd behind the school who are talking to the Boy

Boyd knocks the boy Down causing me to flinch from the abuse I'm crouched down behind the bleachers where no one could see me 

"She failed the test," Derek said to the boy

"Yeah, which doesn't prove anything Lydia's different" The boy said 

"I know, at night she turns into a homicidal walking snake," Derek said 

I arch my brow is he serious? I thought 

"I'm not going to let you kill her," The boy said 

"Who said I was going to do it?" Derek said 

"What if you're wrong?" The boy said in pain 

"She was bitten by an alpha," Derek said 

Alpha? like a wolf what are they talking about 

The boy leans up on his elbows "You saw that thing up close you know it's not like us?" Derek said 

"But it is! we're all shapeshifters you don't know what you're dealing with, it happens rarely and it happens for a reason," Scott said 

Shapeshifters? what the heck are they talking about? 

Peter said the bite either kills you or turns you, you were probably hoping that he would die but nothing happened right you have no idea why do you?" The boy said 

"No" Derek said 

"you can't do this!" The boy said 

"Look I can't let her live! you should have known that!" Derek said 

"I was hoping I would convince you but then-" The boy gets a certain gleam in his eyes "I wasn't counting on it," He said 

Boyd and Derek take off running 

The sniffs the air 

"I know you're there," He said 

I crawl out of the bleachers, I stand in front of him looking up at him,

"I've seen you before," He said 

I nodded 

he smiled down at me 

"I'm Scott," He said 

I slowly bent my fingers waving at him, 

"Alicia," I said 

"What are you?" I asked 

"Come with me we have a lot to talk about ," Scott said holding out his hand
