You arrive back in Derry as you had moved back in with your mum. You were now 18. Puberty had graced you with a glowing figure,big blue eyes and long silky black hair. U sit in your room redecorating when your mum says that ur in ur room as u here footsteps running up the stairs. As the door swings open you are met with a much taller Richie and an equally as tall Eddie. "Hey guys" you smile shyly as they engulf you in a group hug. "We have missed you Alex" they beam as you all spend the day speaking about what you have been up to . "You should come to the quarry tomorrow..we are celebrating how it's been 4 years since..he left.." Eddie says smiling shyly. You agree as they both head home. You straighten your hair and out it into a ponytail accessorised with a light blue bow . Slipping on your white dress over the light blue bikini,you put on your white vans and backpack. You walk downstairs and grab an apple leaving quickly. You jump on your white bike as you peddle off towards the place u use to love. When you arrive your greeted by the sounds of laughing. Putting your bike down you run up the hill,u see bill sat on the edge of the cliff watching everyone splashing about.you could tell he had gotten taller and a lot my muscular.you are snapped out of thoughts by Richie running up to you soaking wet "there's my fav girl" he shouts laughing as you slightly hug his wet torso. You watch as he runs and jumps into the water. You smile and walk to the edge beside where bill was sitting "Hey there" he says shyly looking up at you. You sit beside him watching the others."Hey bill" you say quietly. You all speak for what seems an eternity untill u and bill begin speaking alone. "I'm so sorry Alex" he says out of the blue. U look at him and tilt ur head. "I have been kickin. Myself ever since I let you run away.." you just say oh and look down "Alex I had spent the whole summer practicing how to ask you out...and I messed up" he says as he brushes his hair out of his eyes "I am so sorry,my feelings for you have always been so strong and that one mistake wrecked my chances" you then look up at him "have been? Don't you mean had been" you laugh shaking you head,he looks at your eyes "they never left Alex..you are still the light of my life" he blushes looking away. You take his hand holding it as u see him smile subtly "and you are mine bill"
