Unexpected Nostalgia

Y/N POV

          As i said my farewell to both of them. I readied myself for class as i approached my classroom door.

???: Hey y/n! Over here!

          I search the room to find the voice that called for me though, i wouldn't be surprised if it were Fred or Roberts.

Eventually i identify the person summoning me.... And i was right. No big shock there.

Y/N: Good morning Fred..

      Greeting one of my closest friends, i find my assigned seat and sit.

Scanning the room i find that a certain otaku is missing. Fred walking to my seat i promptly ask him a question. A question im sure he can answer.

Y/N: Hey Fred, wheres Roberts?

Fred: Ohh Robby? He said he wanted to surprise his special lady.

      Curiousity filling my neurons i look out the window to search for Roberts.

Fred: He's not gonna surprise her there stupid...

Y/N: What's the occasion anyway?

      Glancing at Fred he gives me a surprised and confused look. As if i should know the occasion, should i have known about Roberts events for today? Even i can't answer myself that question....

Fred: You don't know?? It's Fred's and Carla's 2 year anniversary today.

         HOW COULD I FORGET!! I completely forgot about that. *sigh* I really am stupid huh... To forget such an important day for such an important friend is an utter disgrace......

Y/N: I totally forgot about that... Sorry, it left my mind callender.

    Fred giving me an understanding look simply nods.

       Me and Fred converse for a few minutes until  the bell rings. clearly alarmed, Fred went back to his seat and so did the others who were chatting a few moments ago. The class goes silent as we hear the homeroom teacher's heavy shoes hit the wood floor as it ventured closer to the classroom.

       The door is then quickly opened and the teacher goes in front of the class. Everyone stands and bows as we great the teacher a "good morning".

Teacher: Sit down everyone.

    As we follow the teachers orders. Two students quickly become apparent as they are seen near the door panting. Observing the two teens, it was Roberts and Carla...

 After being scolded by the teacher they are let inside.

Y/N: Nice going man... Happy anniversary though.

Teacher: So everyone I have something to announce....

      Taking the attention of the class he spoke in a clear voice.

Teacher: We have a new student today.... Please come in.
