"Ada, you overwork yourself" Ada's coworker Kristen said as she entered Ada's office Ada, who was focused on her work looked up and smiled sweetly.

"You know how it is, wetin man go do. I must chop and even though I don't my daughter must eat too"

"Eya, struggles of a single parent" Kristen said seating down on the chair on the opposite side of Ada's desk.

"But seriously, you mean to tell me that the father of your child is not even helping at all financially" Ada sighed

"He's not. He even threatened me the last time I went to meet him"

"That's bad o. His own child"

"Well I can't blame him, I blame myself for being foolish enough to get pregnant for him but I don't regret it, Chioma is my gold and light and I am happy I have her"

"I understand but you really need all the help you can get. I mean..."

"I understand what you are trying to do Kristen but God is on my side, after all He has been providing and He will continue to Provide"

"Well, you are right. Speaking of God, didn't you say that the father..."

"Kristen it's time to pick my daughter from school" Ada said looking at her watch " You know how she can be when I don't pick her early"

"Our little diva" Kristen said smiling. Ada got up and grabbed her bag "I'll have to come back to the office with her because I still have work to do"

Kristen also got up "That's true o. I have some emails to send to Publin Inc. concerning the last meeting we had with the boss"

"Didn't he tell you to send that since Monday?''.

"Well...Yeah...". She said.

"... and its Thursday"

"Look, what he doesn't know won't kill him"

"If you don't get to work now he will definitely know" Ada said leaving the office with Kristen trailing behind her

"He won't know with that his coconut head"

"Ahhh... Kristen. Don't let him hear you say that" Ada said laughing

"He won't but honestly his head is shaped like a coconut, look at it more carefully next time" Kristen said and retreated to her office.

Ada smiled and shook her head. Kristen was definitely a case. She looked at the time and saw that it was 30 minutes past her daughters closing time and she picked up her pace as she left the building and got into her car.
