The Story of Us (Lena pt.2)

Summary: As your and Lena's relationship grows, the next steps are taking into consideration.

Silence. You all sat in silence as soon as you arrived, ready for the interrogation. Of course, it wasn't long before the questions came in.

"So, when were you going to tell us about this?" Alex asked strictly.

You nervously shrugged. "I was going to tell you, trust me. It's just... Lena and I wanted to take things slow."

"Slow? I don't think what I witnessed on Lena's neck would classify as 'slow'."

You felt your face heat up.

"Alex, I think-."

"No, Kara. There's no room for the good cop to speak right now."

Kara scoffed. "Excuse me? Who said my role was the good cop?"

You and Alex both gave Kara a knowing look.

"Okay, fine." Kara pouted.

"Listen, guys. You two were going to be the first people I told. Lena and I are still figuring things out, and with everything that goes on in this town, we just decided to wait before announcing our relationship." You stated.

Alex sighed. "I still can't believe you're dating Lena Luthor. You! My baby sister!"

You laughed. "Alex, I'm not a baby anymore. Plus, we both know that I'm more of an adult than Kara, so your outburst was a little dramatic."

Alex nodded with another sigh.

"I'm right here!" Kara pouted yet again.

"Wait. Kara, how do you feel about this? Lena is your best friend." Alex asked.

"That she is. Honestly, the only reason why I was upset is because I wasn't told sooner by either Lena or Y/N. Other than that, I fully support you two as long as you keep the PDA to a minimum and don't talk about inappropriate things around me." Kara happily nodded.

You laughed. "Sure thing. Thanks for your blessing." You looked towards Alex in hopes she was also okay with your relationship.

"Yes, I'm fine with it. If she ever upsets you in any way though, I will not hold back."

Alex's tone made you worry a bit for Lena, but you knew she'd never intentionally hurt you.

"Great. Well, if we're done here, I have to go receive my other lecture."

Once you got to Lena's place, the last thing you expected was her to be pacing back and forth in worry.

"Lena?" You caught her attention as you entered. "What's wrong?"

She immediately dragged you towards the couch. "What did they say?"

You were a bit confused at first until the realization of why she was worried came to you.

"They don't want us together do they? I bet they both hate me right? Is it because I'm a Luthor?"

You couldn't help but smile at your girlfriend's crazy worries.

"Why are you smiling?" Lena asked seriously.

"Because you're too cute." Your smile grew at the sight of her flushed cheeks. "They don't have a problem with us being together."

Lena's eyes widened in surprise. "Really?"

You nodded. "We have their blessing. Although, Alex did threaten you a bit."

Lena sighed in relief.

The next few weeks have been going by well aside from the first game night, which was kind of awkward.

With the blessings of your sisters, you could tell Lena was very happy. You two continued to keep your relationship relatively private, although Kara did accidentally spill the beans to your mother. Honestly, you two couldn't be happier, it was like you both were a match made in heaven.

You always helped to remind Lena to eat on busy days, you made sure she also didn't overwork herself. Lena made sure to spoil you with attention when you'd go to her place or vise versa.

Today, was a beautiful rainy day and you wanted nothing more than to cuddle with your girlfriend, so you did just that. As you two sat on the couch, Lena's arms wrapped around you, she called out to you.

"Y/n?"

"Yes, Love?" You asked, sitting back so you could face her. You took in how she began fiddling with her fingers in nervousness.

"We've been dating for a while, right?"

You laughed. "I'd like to think so, yes."

She stayed silent for a while, thinking.

"Everything okay?" You held her hand for comfort.

"Yes, it's just- You tend to stay over a lot, and I go to yours a lot too... I was just wondering if maybe we should move in together?"

Your heart swooned at the look of Lena's face, she looked nervous as if you'd say no.

"Is it too soon? Sorry, I asked-."

"No, no, no! Not at all! I'd love to move in with you." You interrupted with the biggest smile on your face.

"Really? You don't have to force-."

You interrupted her once again, but this time with your lips. You rested your forehead on hers.

"Lena, I would absolutely love to wake up next to you every morning, be able to come home to you every day, cook for you every day, and not to mention cuddle with you whenever I want. So, don't you dare say I'm forcing myself or that it's too soon."

"Okay, well now it's sounding like you're going to propose to me." Lena smiled.

You laughed. "Not just yet."

You two continued to cuddle for quite a while just enjoying the sound of the rain.

"You know, I've never felt this way with someone before. Wanting to constantly be around them, wanting to move in with someone. It scares me how much I love you." Lena spoke softly.

"You're not proposing to me, right?" You teased.

"Maybe," Lena spoke playfully. "No, I'd make sure that occasion would be very special. I'm just really happy for once. I've finally found someone who loves me for me, and doesn't care about the name my family created."

"I'm glad you're happy, and I can't wait to call you my wife one day."

Lena smiled. "Me too."
