Chapter 12

It was the night after the beach where Levi invited both his uncle and his mother to eat dinner at the Clos Maggiore - the fancy French restaurant in London. The older lad had planned this to ask his mother for her approval to marry the love of his life without Eren knowing it. And for his uncle, well, he sorta had to ask him too since he is still a part of his family. The restaurant itself is so fancy and luxurious, just like what Levi expected for asking an approval. Jean and the others had to approve his plan after this or Levi swears he is going to burn that bitch for refusing his plan. It was Jean's idea to bring all Eren's friends here for the summer so that they can watch Levi being a good future-husband for Eren but they totally forgot about it ever since their flight landed here in London. They did not pay any attentions to both Levi and Eren, and that irritated Levi very much.

"Hello, Mrs. Ackerman! It's so nice to finally meet you!" Historia was the first person who finally stood up from her seat to greet Levi's mother.

Soon, all of Eren's friends stood up and greet the mother of the Ackermans. It was a magnificent night for Kuchel, she is so happy to be able to see what type of friends Levi and Eren choose to be with, and she is very delighted to see that they chose these type of people - all caring and very friendly. Not just that, but they are also very accepting towards Levi and Eren's relationship. Seeing how wonderful their friends are, making Kuchel can't help but feel happy and giving them her warmest 'welcome to London' smile.

It was not a surprise that both Levi's mother and Levi look alike, except for Mikasa. She is different than both of them, even Bertoldt and Ymir realized that. Marco was the only person in the group to have the idea that Mikasa probably looks like Levi's unknown father - and they almost thought Kenny Ackerman is Levi and Mikasa's father. Only Eren knows about Levi's missing father so he did not say anything about it since his boyfriend did tell him that he wished for him not to tell anyone about his family's secret. It was an honor for Eren to finally keep Levi's very first secret, it was like a gift for the bright green eyed lad.

After greeting Levi's mother, Levi told everyone to take their seats while Kuchel and Kenny took the seats with him and Eren. Apparently, Levi reserved two separate tables so he can talk about this secret proposal with his mother and uncle. He did tell Mikasa to join his table but she said she is more interested in sitting with her friends. Besides, she also told her brother about Armin having a weird yet interesting story about the ocean since they went to the beach that morning.

"Finally, I can just sit dinner with the special Eren Jaeger," Kuchel said while giggling.

"Yeah, what a splendid dinner we have tonight," Kenny sarcastically said as he rolled his eyes before scanning the French menus. His eyebrows furrowed in confusions before asking Eren, "What does it say?"

The younger lad tried to read where Kenny pointed his finger to but got confused as well since it was written in French and he does not understand French that well. Levi, on the other hand, sighed embarrassedly before telling the two, "It's soupe à l'oignon,"

"What the hell is that?" Kenny raised an eyebrow at him.

"How can you not know that? Maybe if you take that stupid cowboy hat off of your stupid head, you can read and understand it," Levi snapped at his own uncle. Huh? What was that? Him being too rude? Bruh, his uncle is wearing this weird Claw-hammer coat from the 1850s. Levi does not know where his uncle get that from but it looks absolutely ridiculous on him. And not just the coat, he is also wearing this strange bowler hat on his head. This old man does not have any taste in fashion at all.

Speaking of fashion, you should see how Eren dresses tonight. He is wearing a soft pink tuxedo with a black shirt underneath along with matching color pants with his shirt. His slightly-long brown hair is just there being beautiful since Eren decided to just brush it with a comb and let it fall. His hair is still too short if he wants to tie it to a man bun type of hair, so Eren decided to just let it fall instead. But, damn, Levi can't keep his eyes away from the bright green eyed lad. He is looking very gorgeous tonight and he can't stop staring at him. It looks like his food is already here before he can order it.
